This year, my birthday fell about 2 weeks+ before the Chinese New Year Period. To be honest, I'm not very fond of it as most of my friends are busy preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year, and there is no time left for me at all! Therefore, I started to arrange for dinner dates with friends about 2 weeks before my birthday. Baby had got me a huge birthday gift - A planned 10-day holiday to Okinawa + Fukuoka. Our Plan would have us arriving back in Singapore 3 days before CNY, in order to get ready and to do quick spring cleaning to welcome Chinese New Year! Linda and Sweetie arranged an early birthday gathering with me, and it was a great catch up! We went to the PS Café outlet at Raffles City. We had a really fabulous time hanging out. Happy Birthday to Wilfred! Our paths first crossed in 2018, and it seems like we've been friends for a very long time, as we always have endless conversations whenever we meet up! I met up with the Birthday Boy and CK on a random weekday after my work. We settled our dinner celebration/gathering at Café Monochrome which is   located at 216 Syed Alwi Road . The café bears a black and white interior that looks like a flat 2D illustration in photos. We ordered a Truffle Cream Pasta ,  Monochrome’s Angel Hair and the Wagyu Donburi. For sides, we had Crispy Mid-joint Wings and one of their Specialty Fries with toppings of chilli crab sauce. We love the Chilli Crab Fries as the sweet and spicy sauce was pretty addictive! The birthday boy loved the wings which both CK and I felt that those wings were similar to those of CP Food! Lolz... I met up with Tracy, Meryl and Sweetie on a "Fridate", and we settled at Paddyfolks which is located at the Funan Mall. Tracy made use of her  Entertainer App , which allows us to obtain a 1-for-1 deal! Paddyfolks is  specialized in hearty and wholesome rice bowls that are great for a quick, filling meal.
