Shellabration Afternoon Tea at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa

Image
Both baby and I love Afternoon Teas, but we are also seafood lovers. Hence, when there is a combination of both these items, then it almost impossible to give it a miss! Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa is having a 'Shellabration' Afternoon Tea  which featured Lobster Thermidor Puff Pastry Tart and Mala-style Baby Crayfish Roll. Baby made the reservation without any hesitation.  Baby brought me to Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa to indulge in a cozy afternoon affair at the LeBar. We were surrounded by lush greenery with a gentle breeze. No afternoon tea set or buffet is ever complete without scones! They need to improve their scone recipe, as I had better ones!  These dainty treats are best enjoyed with the choices of TWG Tea that came with the set. OM! My Afternoon Tea experience was great! Our afternoon tea set also came with Lobster Thermidor . It tasted pretty good, and I love it! Raspberry Vanilla Profiterole This Afternoon...

Dinner at Sky22 + High Tea at Cook & Brew

Image
Baby received his Birthday Reward s from DBS Bank , and these included various offers, such as a 1-for-1 main course. He made a dinner reservation at Sky22 which is located at the Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena. The restaurant is known for its picturesque view and it offers modern Asian and Western-influenced a la carte dishes.   I loved the Chicken & Pork Belly Satay  which was served with ketupat and a creamy peanut sauce. The Crab Cake was made with locally grown mud crab. I had the Miso-Glazed Halibut , which was gently roasted and served on a Pearl Barley Risotto. This was our first time dining in this restaurant, and we were glad that we were introduced to this eatery place through this reward. The English tradition of a leisurely afternoon tea has become a much-loved ritual in Singapore. Baby made use of another DBS birthday Reward to enjoy a High Tea at the Cook & Brew which is located at Level 33 of The Westin Singapore. Cook & Brew offers t...

Dinner at Oasis Hideout + Nuttylicious Hazelnut Spread by Harvest Fields + SG Sweet 60 High Tea Set

Oasis Hideout is a dining spot located at the Singapore Polytechnic Graduates’ Guild (SPGG) . It is open to the public, and it is a little way out of the way for those who don’t drive. It definitely feels like a hideout! I recently visited, and I felt that it was a quaint hidden gem! The poolside dining experience was absolutely delightful. The eatery serves up a special blend of Western and Asian flavours developed in part due to Chef Antonio’s hawker heritage. We decided to order the Oasis Olive Fried Rice , as there was a generous old-school’s value meal top up available by adding an additional $5.50, which comes with a Soup of the Day and a Fruit Juice Drink. While there were the usual pasta dishes like Aglio e olio and carbonara, I tried the Tom Yam Seafood Pasta , a spicy dish that combined linguine with creamy, spicy-sour Tom Yam broth flavors along with seafood like prawns and squid. We also enjoyed the chicken  'Popraage'  which were perfectly deep-fried. Beware, as i...
