Barashi-Tei is a perfect eatery place for budget-seekers to have decent Japanese fare. It is located at Middle Road, and is within walking distance from Dhoby Ghaut and Bras Basah MRT Stations. To get one's bearings right, it is situated along the same stretch as the famous Rochor Original Beancurd. Barashi-Tei opens till late night, which allows many supper lovers to enjoy a Japanese fix instead of the usual hawker delights. Barashi-Tei combines tradition and modern culinary aspects, and takes pride in making their food from scratch. The restaurant has an extensive menu of many Japanese favorites, and the sushi is specially flown fresh from Japan's prestigious Tsukiij Fish Market.
