I took part in the PCCW Global Charity Run 2017 , which was held at the Gardens By the Bay (Silver Leaf), to show my support for charity! 100% of the proceeds from this run are donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Singapore . A grand total of SGD 50,000 was raised from the Run! These funds will be used to fulfil the wishes and dreams of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The 5KM Charity Run flagged off at 0715hrs, and it was pretty hard to wake up so early to get to the venue on time for the race. It's all thanks to my Baby's help, so we reached there about 20 minutes earlier before the race began.  The race route was pretty straightforward, and it made the runners traverse the areas of Gardens by the Bay, Marina Barrage and Marina Bay Sands. The Safari Zoo Run (SZR)  is dedicated to the memory of Ah Meng, the zoo's iconic Orangutan who died of old age in February 2008. This year's SZR is in support of wildlife conservation and in the hopes of garnering more funding support for the stated endangered species. Protecting the wildlife is our mission ; Run for the wildlife!   I've heard about this fun run a few years back, and this year, I was so happy to be given a chance to join in the fun. Both Baby and I opted for the 5.5KM Family Fun Run . Upon receiving the email from the organisation to pick up the race pack at Marina Square, Baby and I made our way there on Saturday to do our collection. The race pack collection on Saturday was pretty smooth and there were many parents signing up together with their children, as this is a good start to relay a message to kids on the importance of regular exercising and to stay healthy always.  Last week, I woke up early...

Her World presented the inaugural 'Bare for Hope' Road Show to raise awareness and funds for the Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation . This road show/exhibition was held at the atrium of Paragon . The giant Pink Ribbon at the event was made up of 55 pairs of breast models which were contributed by members of the public, breast cancer survivors, and celebrities such as Jade Seah and Oon Shu Ann as well . Our good friend, Meryl was one of the helper at the road show, so a group of us (Sweetie, Jasmine, Tracy and yours truly) turned up at the premises and we did it for a good cause, as every 10 photos posted on instagram taken with the 'I Bare for Hope' pledge card will grant a free mammogram treatment to the under-privileged woman.   And yes!
