I was selected to work from home for 3 days, and Baby came over to meet me for dinner after his work. He suggested going out for dinner instead of somewhere nearby my place. He drove to City Square Mall , and we settled at Watami Japanese Restaurant , as it has been quite a while since we last visited this eatery place.     I ordered my favourite Cold Soba with Tempura , while Baby had  Beef Sukiyaki Nabe with Udon . We shared the Gyoza and Yakitoro .      I love the Gyzoza to the MAX! The popular Cartoon Network characters , We Bare Bears are celebrating their Christmas this year at all malls belonging to the Fraser Property group. Along with her Mommy, Jasmine, we went for the Meet & Greet session which was held at the Causeway Point.   Have a beary Merry Christmas!  After that, together with Ryden and Baby, we went for our late lunch at Watami Japanese Restaurant, and we had a delightful meal there.  Thanks 8miles and Food Art for sending some samples/trial over to me. TGIF dinner at Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant + random doings

Image
It has been almost more than a year since I last visited Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant, as per my blog timeline. It indictated that my last visit was in June 2012, and I am happy to have a blog to drop down all the things I did and places I went to all these while... To me, blog-ging is like an online daily diary to keep track of my life events.       I love having a nice dinner on a Friday night, as this is a good start to welcome the weekends and 'fighting' for the next coming weekdays (*working days*).   We ord ered the Kankoku Butechigae Nabe (Cabbages, pork, kimchi, instant noodle, leeks, carrots, tofu, golden mushroom and special spicy hot pot soup)   It is the  Korean-style Army Hot-pot Stew in a lay man terms, and the soup will be topped-up upon requesting, so no worries about not having enough soup in this shallow and small  pot.     We enjoyed the  savory so...

Lunch @ Watami + Dinner @ Ah Orh = We love food!!

Image
As a routine, Baby and I normally chat for awhile every night before we go to bed. We chat about everything under the sun, but I believe that most couples will be having the same kind of conversation like we do, eg: How's your day? Where shall we go for our meal? What to eat? What should we do on our weekend dates and etc. .. So here I go, suggesting Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant at Raffles City to him for our random weekend lunchie... He agreed on my suggestion without thinking twice, as I think he was having the same craving as I do too. We REALLY MISS Tonkatsu Kimchi Nabe very much!!! We ord ered the Tonkatsu Kimchi Nabe which comes with a drink, a bowl of rice and a salad, and this is an on-going promotion during lunch hours. We made a bit of cost saving from that. The savory soup was as tasty as before, so no wonder this item is ranked in top position on our food list! As per our normal routine, we always ordered 2 side dishes to c...
