[service review] Hair Spa at LE HAIR SPA

Image
Together with Sweetie, we were invited for the opening of  LE HAIR SPA  in August, and I was very happy to be part of a group to do a service review of the new hair parlor! It is located along Bukit Timah Road, and it is within walking distance from Little India MRT Station.     Upon entering the salon, I was greeted by an elegant and royal setting! The Chesterfield couch looked comfortable and it will give one a relaxing vibe, and to prepare for the upcoming pampering session!   Like other hair salons, they have the usual basic/regular hair services such as cutting, coloring, perming, and re-bonding.   Sweetie and I were there to try a basic 60-minute Hair Spa (SGD50)  which included a massage, hair washing, and scalp treatment.     With an additional of SGD25, you can enjoy the  90-minute Luxury Hair Spa Service (SGD75) which comes with a nail service, ear candling, massage and a hair wash. [hair review] My experience at SALON LE POINT

Image
I was born with jet black hair and I always wanted to have colored hair to enhance my overall look to be more radiant. I started to dye my hair when I was a teenager, and I used to buy the hair dye from the shelf and DIY at home.   Back when I was younger, I never thought of the long-term side effects of DIY hair dye. I'm certain that my scalp was definitely healthier and hair loss, dryness and split ends were not an issue till recently.   I discovered that my chemically-treated tresses looked unmanageable and my thick brittle hair looked lifeless and shapeless.   Luckily, I was introduced to SALON LE POINT which is located at the Regent Hotel. I tried their hair color treatment programme as well to trim away my unglam split-ends.     Ms Hazel, the Director of Salon Le Point attended to my woes, and she gave my hair a new look and new life by trimming off nearly 2 inches away! She also layered my hair to lighten my...

Happy Bark Day Coco + Lovely X'mas pressie

Image
Coco is a January furkid, and this January she turned 9 years old! Time really flies! She came into my life way back in 2006 when she was just a 3-month old puppy, and now she has entered her senior age!   Coco's age is catching up with her, and medical check-ups have to be done more regularly, to the point where doctors are recommending me to bring her twice in a year, instead of once. I was glad to hear from the vet that Coco has an ideal weight for her breed group, and everything is fine for her except for her poor dental care. I regret that I did not practice proper dental care for her during her early age, as scaling treatments was something I wasn't familiar with until recently, and now unfortunately it is rather late for her, and I do not want to run the risk of anything happen due to her old age. Therefore, I have to brush her teeth regularly in order to get rid of excess tartar, but there's no significant improvement. I guess I will have to maintain ev...

New hair color for Jess Baby + random doings

Image
Recently, I just got my hair colored at my usual hairdo haunt, Papilio . I was first introduced to this salon through flowerpod forum , and I fell in love with their service as well as the results I received. Their charges for hair treatments and services are pretty decent and affordable! I paid SGD120 for hair color, treatment and trimming! On top of that I was also given a bottle of intensive hair serum, POWERDOSE COLOR by L'Oreal Professional and a cash voucher worth SGD20 for my next visit. I think I will probably do my hair treatment there from now on.   As usual, on weekends, we will normally drive in to Malaysia, and we did. We drove into Taman Mount Austin , and we had our afternoon tea at Auntie Lim Cafe . Baby ordered a glass of Banana Milk Shake and Ham and Egg Sandwiches. I ordered the recommended dish from the menu, Chives Pancakes , and with the spicy dipping black sauce, the pancakes tasted GREAT! The damage was RM21-i...
