‘Picnic by the Bay’ by En Community Services Society

Image
‘Picnic by the Bay’ is a fundraiser organized for the very first time by En Community Services Society, which was held at the S upertree Grove Lawn in Gardens by the Bay. The core value of this event is to encourage family bonding with the senior members in a family and to showcase their talents and vibrant, active ageing lifestyles. This event was also held on the same day as the Mid-Autumn Festival, and it was a great outing for families to have fun and joy together. Tracy and I attended this morning event, whereby we were given a picnic mat. We enjoyed the stage performances while sitting on the mat!  The event kicked off with a mass exercise in the morning, followed by other stage performances include choir and dance performances by school children and volunteer performers. The public attendance turn out was pretty good, and there were nearly 200 seniors who have picked up musical instruments during their silver years. In fact, many of them only started taking online lessons ...

September's edition of Partibox from Particlub + Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration

Image
A month has yet again passed, so it's time to show and review on my Partibox from Particlub !   I am glad that I was introduced to Particlub and joined them even though I had missed out on the early-bird promotion price at only SGD10. I am still very happy to be with them, as the goodies and perks are getting better each month. Here I am into my fourteen month with them, and I feel a great sense of anticipation and excitement every month when I am about to receive my box! Let me share with you on what there is for September’s edition! This time round, the gift contained only Biore products!  I received 3 items from them, and they were Body Powder Sheets, UV Sunscreen SPF50+   PA+++ and Makeup Remover. This month’s  Partimerch is a Limited Edition 'PartiCap'! I love this super cute cap, and this will come in handy as the weather has been changing drastically recently. That summarizes all the goodies that I got for this month's edition from Part...

[Mid-Autumn Festival] - VivoCity’s Curious Adventures in Wonderland

Image
This year's Mid-Autumn Festival , or more commonly known as the 'Mooncake Festival', falls on a Friday. As usual, the Korean company that I work closed office early for a half day in order to celebrate Chuseok (Korean's Thanksgiving Day!)   To get the moods on, I went to VivoCity's Sky Park , which is located on the third level in order to visit the VivoCity’s Curious Adventures in Wonderland , which was inspired by the famous story Alice in Wonderland. I am a huge fan of Alice in the Wonderland, and I had a great time there!    Upon reaching, we started off with the ' Rabbit Hole' , and I love each exhibit display very much.    Next was the ' Mad Tea Party', and I took many random OOTDs against the beautiful backdrop at the event.   Next was the 'Tunnel of Soldiers' which we found ourselves surrounded by Playing Card Soldiers.    What I loved most about the event ...

[Gathering] Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration + Steamboat

Image
It is another year of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and what better way to celebrate it then to have meey up again with my peers and loved ones to do it traditionally! We arranged for a mini gathering at Henderson Waves Bridge , and the attendees, except for Joanne were the same people who attended last year. I was happy that Jasmine's parents were there us that night. I also brought Coco with me to join in the fun.       We made our way to the venue for the gathering. Upon reaching, we met up with one another at a small area at Henderson Waves Bridge to light up our lanterns.          We still spent a good 1 hour-ish with each other mingling with one another and we had a great chatting session, sharing our life in general. Of course, we were more interested in hearing from Meryl, as she is now a flight attendant!     We headed straight to Jasmine's Crib at Teban Gardens ...
