[food review] Lobster Mazesoba at Menya Sakura

Image
Recently, Menya Sakura introduced the limited time only Lobster Mazesoba . This dish is served dry, and Mazesoba has become more popular lately in Singapore. Menya Sakura provides a free upsize, thus it makes it perfect for patrons with big appetites.   Upon being seated, we were given access to a free-flow mini salad bar which is offered to all their customers courtesy of Menya Sakura .   The Lobster Mazesoba has a unique medley of flavors, from savory to tangy. [Menya Sakura's 3rd Anniversary] Uni Tsukemen - limited time only

Image
Menya Sakura is located at Orchid Hotel, Tanjong Pagar . They are celebrating their 3rd Anniversary by releasing a limited-edition menu featuring Uni Tsukemen. The dish comes together with a separate bowl of rich broth for dipping. This is pretty rare to find in Singapore.  I love the accompanying dipping broth which is made of Menya Sakura’s signature Tonkotsu broth. Thick noodles are chosen as they tasted better with the...

[tasting] Tonkotsu Tsukemen by Menya Sakura

Menya Sakura is located at Orchid Hotel, Tanjong Pagar , and it specialises in Nagoya-style ramen. Menya Sakura only offers two different styles of Japanese ramen; Tonkotsu Broth , as well as Tsukemen (noodles with a dipping sauce).     There is a free-flow salad bar which is available for all patrons to help themselves to. Patrons are able to opt for hot or cold noodles to be served with their Tsukemen, and are also allowed to choose from varying portion sizes of the item from the order chit.      Though there is a limited variety on the menu, the quality of the food served is top notch. This is the aim for Menya Sakura  as they wish to ensure quality and perfection in the dishes that they serve.    Apart from the Tonkotsu Tsukemen, we also had Aburi Char Siu too.         Thick noodles are chosen as they tasted better with the concentrated and flavorful broth, and the chashu...
