HÜBSCH JESS BABY

All thanks to DBS Bank, I got to experience my first GV Gold Class session! I received a pair of Gold Class Movie Vouchers about half a year ago, and I finally redeemed it for  Wreck-It Ralph2 - 'Ralph Breaks The Internet'.     Six years ago, Ralph, the villain from the fictional arcade game, 'Fix-It Felix' became a hero after saving fellow arcade game, Sugar Rush's princess Vanellope. They have become best friends ever since. The sequel starts off with Ralph being content with his life as he spends his day in the game as a villain, and drinks root beer with Vanellope at night.   Ralph is forced to leave his comfort zone when Vanellope's arcade game broke down, and they need to find a steering wheel replacement quickly, as the 'Sugar Rush' game is in danger of being removed from the arcade! The pair hops onto the internet via WiFi which has been recently installed, and travel on a new adventure to the wonderful world of the...

'Twenty' is a light-hearted comedy movie starring Kim Woo Bin, Kang Ha-Neul and Lee Jun-Ho from the group,  2PM . This movie provides a humorous perspective on the life of young adults in Korea.     'Twenty' is about the lives of 3 best friends (Chi-ho, Dong Woo and Kyung Jae) who are literally standing at the crossroad of maturity. The running time of this movie is 115 minutes.     Chi-ho (starring Kim Woo Bin) is unemployed and his priority is dating and wooing women.     Kyung Jae (played by Kang Ha-Neul) is extremely shy around girls, but completely transforms when he gets drunk. His goal is to get accepted at a corporate job. Lastly, Dong Woo (starring Lee Jun-ho) is a Happy-Go-Lucky guy whose dream is to become a cartoonist but his family goes bankrupt, so he is forced to become the breadwinner and takes on several take part-time jobs.     In short, the 3 geeky young men are struggling to ...

The movie, 'HELIOS' - is an action extravaganza film of terrorism that was directed by award-winning directors Longman Leung and Sunny Luk, who is also directed their other famous movie, 'Cold War' . They take their unique blend of politics and explosive action to this international film arena.   Thanks Clover Films for the tickets and 'HELIOS'  premieres in Singapore and Hong Kong theatres on the 30th April 2015.   'HELIOS' , a most-wanted criminal throughout the global, has stolen the latest weapon of mass destruction weapon, DC8 from South Korea. The movie hints at it being a small nuclear device with enough power to ravage Hong Kong.     The underground trading of the weapon was to take place in Hong Kong and this caused Hong Kong to be turned into a dangerous city overnight.     Jacky Cheung stands out in the movie with his excellent performance and Nick Cheung's top notch a...

A week ago, I was invited by Clover Films to the Gala Premiere of ' Bring Back The Dead' which will be screened in theatres on the 8th January 2015.   We were located at the second row of GV MAX, VivoCity , and I had a clear view of the main cast and director, however, this also meant that I had a front view of the huge screen which, being a horror movie, ensured I had lots of up close and personal scares, and I foresaw myself being freaked out by the movie.       Bring Back The Dead has a touching storyline that will be able to touch many hearts of many mothers, as losing someone dearly in your life is heart-breaking which everyone can relate to easily.         The casts shared their thoughts of accepting the roles in the movie. I was pretty surprised when Mr Director told us that they completed filming in 19 days.       The movie begins with a 5-minute string of images...

I finally got some complimentary tickets from Mr Popcorn, Golden Village. It has been a long time since I watch western movies as lately, I have been watching quite a number of Asian movies, which I was kindly invited to by Clover Films.     After a long hiatus of twenty years, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are back together again in Dumb and Dumber To , and it is the sequel to the 1994 smash movie, Dumb and Dumber . The two characters, Harry and Lloyd have become the favorite comedy icons / idols due to the portrayal by Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. The original movie has since become a classic.   They reprise their signature roles as Harry Dunne and Lloyd Christmas in Dumb and Dumber To , but sadly to say, this sequel is almost an entire recycled plot as the previous installment.   After so many years, Jim Carrey is still one of the better comedians in the movie industry.      SPOILER ALERT! The movie st...
