Food tasting at 8 Degree Taiwanese Bistro + Somersby Pop-up at Plaza Singapura
The 8 Degree Taiwanese Bistro , which is also known as the 'Jay Chou Bistro' , used to be tucked away in a small corner along various shop houses at Serangoon Road. It has now been re-located to the Kovan area. I love this new location as it is just a short walk from Kovan MRT Station. The eatery place bears a very strong Taiwanese ambience and Jay Chou's songs and music are played throughout the opening hours. Milk tea is a must-order drink whenever I visit a Taiwanese cuisine restaurant/café. I enjoyed their Mee Sua which was topped with a few plump pieces of oysters as well as Chitterlings. We loved 8 Degrees’ Scallion Pancake , as it was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It came with a fragrant dipping sauce, which enhanced the taste of the pancake very well!
