[random] Jess Baby's corner

I am so happy to see Collar again, and I simply adore this big size guy! He looks like an adult, but in reality he is still a puppy! As the tender age of 5 months old, he’s already built like a guard dog!    We had our dinner at Eagle's Nest Restaurant which is located at Kelab Golf Negara Subang (KGNS). It was a  delightful dinner and we were only here in KL for a night as we drove up on the Saturday late morning. We left KL on the Sunday afternoon.    Happy 65th Birthday, Uncle Mike! Although we only stayed a night, I still had my shopping desire fulfilled all thanks to the latest mall, Da:Men in USJ. I had to also restrict myself from spending too much as I am heading on a shopping spree trip in a few days time! Not too worry, this restriction will not apply to where I am heading and I will definitely make time to explore the city and enjoy the delicacies there too. Lovely evening at Wihardja Furniture Showroom

Image
I was invited to a cosy blogger gathering for a hearty Indonesian dinner at Wihardja Furniture Showroom which is located at Enterprise One (Kaki Bukit).     pic credits to Meryl Upon entering the premises, it is stocked full of Teak and Suar Wood furniture .   Each piece of furniture is well handcrafted, with a natural wood finish, wax/varnish finish. This also comes in 4 different color tones.  The Suar Wood appeared nicer in my eyes mainly it was polished and smooth in touching.     pic credits to Claudia   Wihardja  has 2 showrooms in Singapore (Kaki Bukit and Toh Guan). They are specialising in teakwood furniture, wood accessories as well as pottery wares that are made in Indonesia. They have a factory which is located in Central Java .  There is no middleman involved during transaction, and therefore customers can enjoy top notch teakwood furniture at an affordable price.   What ...

Shopping and eating at Mega Mall Batam Centre

Image
On Deepavail Day, I asked Claressa to join me on my RKM date for a day's trip to Batam, as I love shopping and having nice and comfort Indonesian food. This time round, she stocked up on her daily necessities like toothpastes, as well as tons of snacks.   As usual, we took BatamFast to Batam Centre, and the whole travelling time was about an hour. After clearing the customs, we made our way by foot to Mega Mall Batam Centre for our brunch.     Our shopping desires were fulfilled after we finished our meal. Baby went over to the men's section which is one level up from the women's section, and he got himself a top at only 45,000 Rupiah (SGD5).     Both Claressa and I picked up some tops, dresses and sweaters/jackets from the mall. We got the same panda hoodie jacket, as both of us fell in love with the panda head hoodie! The jackets were having 50% sales, so we ended up only paying 99,500 Rupiah (SGD 11) each. ...

Jess Baby loves cafe-hopping

Image
Both Baby and I are food lovers and we occasionally scoot to any locations to find good/interesting food. Since now cafe-hopping is the trendy thing to do, I suppose I shall have to jump on the bandwagon! LOL... Recently, we visited Butter Studio at Jalan Besar area, and althought it is located along the row of old shop-houses,  Butter Studio stands out clearly due to its striking bright colored yellow exterior. The interior is pretty simple but there are quite a number of random nostalgic ornaments displayed in the shop.   We ordered a pot of organic hot tea and a shared a slice of Yuzu Cheesecake. I love the fragrance of the tea leaves very much, but the cake tasted pretty normal.       The damage was SGD13-ish, and the price we paid is pretty standard for every cafe we visit lately.   The GSS is on now, and lately I bought quite a number of stuffs! I got 3 dresses from Lowry's Farm as they...
