3D2N getaway to KL

I had a short getaway (3D2N) to Kuala Lumpur (KL) on a weekend by Scoot!! Our flight was 9-ish in the morning, and we reached the airport around 730pm on a Friday morning. The moment we landed in KLIA2 , it was time for brunch.  As usual, Daddy Mike picked up us from the airport, and we still maintained our usual habit of having Bak Kut Teh for our breakfast. The joint that we normally go to is  Restoran Chuan Chiew ! This eatery is at Subang Jaya SS14 , and if you are nearby, do give it a try! We checked in to the  Sunway Pyramid Hotel for 2 nights’ stay. We were upgraded as the previous room given to us wasn't up to mark. Thankfully, the upgraded room was spacious and clean. The view from our room! After dropping our bags off, we went for some shopping at Sunway Pyramid, and Baby picked up some clothes from Padini and Sport Direct while I got myself a t-shirt dress and a romper from Forever21. I paid  RM120 for these two items as they were on sale! It wa...

2D1N getaway to KL

To beat the jam during the Christmas weekend, we decided to drive up to KL one week before Christmas to purchase X’mas gifts and CNY new clothes. We left SG on a Saturday morning at 4.30am to avoid the obvious massive jam, and we reached KL around 1030am. Mum V brought us to Restoran - My Toast n Roast which is located at PJ for a roast meat fix! We checked in to the  One World Hotel for a night's stay. We were so lucky to have an early check-in, as well as an upgrade to a deluxe room even though the normal check-in time was 3pm! Thanks for the complimentary cookies from One World Hotel .  After dropping our bags off, we drove down another 30-45mins to Subang Jaya to Daddy’s Place, and did some shopping in Sunway Pyramid . I took some random photos at the Christmas Market which is located at the Atrium of Sunway Pyramid.  The most satisfactory loot for this trip was the special 'TokiDoki' Cabin sized s...

A short weekend getaway to KL, Malaysia is something I always look forward to, as it is a chance to recharge myself after a week of stressful work. We drove up on  a Saturday morning at 5am, and we reached KL at 10.30am. We did our usual routine upon reaching Uncle Mike's place which was shopping, makan-ing and lepak-ing.   At night, Uncle Mike drove us to Kepong to try out Sze Ngan Chye's famous Roasted Duck. The restaurant actually first opened at Petaling Street, which is located at the heart of KL Town . Luckily, they opened another branch at Kepong which only required 20 minutes of driving from Uncle Mike's place.   Apart of having the succulent roasted duck, I also had Minced Pork Spinach Noodles , and it tasted delicious! Thanks for the heart-warming dinner!     The next morning, Uncle Mike brought us to Pudu, KL town area for famous San Peng Prawn Noodles for brunch. This yummy bowl of prawn noodles nev...
