New Year’s Eve dinner at Burrata Joy & Gustavo Lapasta + New Year's Lunch at Tung Lok XiHe Peking Duck Restaurant

Image
Burrata Joy & Gustavo Lapasta is an Italian restaurant located at Katong V, at the eastern part of Singapore. Baby made a reservation for us to celebrate our mini New Year’s Eve dinner. It is a casual dining spot that offers delicious dishes. We love their freshly made creamy burrata, and their pasta was delicious while the servings were generous. Though the prices are slightly on the higher side, Burrata Joy & Gustavo Lapasta  is still a true hidden gem for lovers of burrata and pasta. As both Baby and I are Peking Duck lovers, we decided to visit Tung Lok XiHe Peking Duck  R estaurant which is located at Orchard Central on the first day of 2026! Apart from the whole Peking Duck , we also ordered a plate of Stir-fired Long Beans with Bacon . We enjoyed the Peking Duck very much. The Peking Duck was deliciously succulent, but the portions were kinda too much to share among the two of us. We tried our best to finish up the food, but we still had to pack a 'doggy bag'...

food review - Walking on Sunshine

Do you often feel like it is hard to find a good place in town  to chill at or go have a gathering with friends? Let me share with you on an awesome place -  Walking on Sunshine  at  Orchard Central . It is a lifestyle concept hair salon and café bistro. It offers a wide selection of Korean-influenced dishes and popular western food.  I was pleasantly delightful to join ‘Food Wanderer’ for a tasting session. What I really liked about Walking On Sunshine is that it looks just like a garden,  and it gave out plenty of greenery vibes! First off, my  Blue Lemon Ade  (SGD8) was refreshing and NOT OVERLY SWEET. It’s a great option and is Instagram worthy as well! The Prawn Pizza  (SGD23) is filled with generous, rich cheese and well-seasoned prawns! The Eggs Benedict with Chicken Ham  (SGD18)  was definitely one of the best choices as the creamy hollandaise sauce was delicious and appetizing. I felt that the  Seafood Panc...

The Pamper and Prosecco Party at Walking on Sunshine

Image
Tracy invited me to join her for a party night of 'Pamper & Prosecco' at the Korean beauty salon 'Walking on Sunshine'. It was not a typical ladies' night, where one usually unwinds at a bar with loud music and drinks. The ladies' night at Walking on Sunshine! The  Pamper & Prosecco Party is only available on every Wednesday. Tracy booked the evening slot of a 2 hour session, whereby we got to have a free flow serving of prosecco, a hair styling session with experienced stylists from the salon, and a mini photoshoot to complete the experience. What’s more, we got to indulge in their desserts too!  This party is perfect for a catch up session with your close girlfriends! Tracy and i got to catch up with each other, and we shared and exchanged our happenings with each other too.  We had the opportunity to try their delicious soufflé pancake and it tasted SO GOOD!    'Walking ...

[random] Sailor Moon Pop-up event + The House Warming event by SoulRichWoman.com

For our lunch date on the Good Friday Holiday, we went to ' Hokkaido Marche' which is located at basement 2 of Orchard Central . (Beside Don Don Donki.) I settled my lunch with Cold Soba with Mixed Tempura . Thanks Baby for the treat! Sailor Moon is one of my favorite anime characters/heroines, and even till today she still holds a fond place in my heart! I was on cloud nine to hear that the first ever Sailor Moon Pop-up event was happening in Singapore! Baby seemed more anxious than me, as he is keenly aware of my love for Sailor Moon. It was he who told me about it, and urged me to visit the pop up store! Hence, we made good use of the public holiday to visit 313@Somerset and i even brought along 'Diana' with me! Upon reaching, we took many random photos against the backdrops. If you do visit the pop up store, never leave without at least taking photos with this iconic crescent moon! Isn't Sailor Moon's...
