Fall Vacation - Day 03 - Day tour to Amanohashidate and Ine

The day trip to Amanohashidate and Ine is the main highlight of our itinerary in Osaka.   Amanohashidate (天橋立, Heaven’s bridge in Japanese) is renowned for its scenery and is recognised as one of Japan's Three Scenic Views. We purchased the tickets via Klook prior to our trip. It was a 3-hrs bus ride from Osaka to Amanohashidate with a stop at Kyoto station. The pick-up point was a 8-10 minutes walk from our hotel. We had our brekkie before our day tour.  Upon reaching Amanohashidate , we were eager to get the best view of the sandbar from the top, and it can be accessed by cable car or chair-lift. To save time, we took the individual chair-lift instead, as the wait time for the cable car was a 20 minutes interval period. The chair-lift is constantly running so you don’t waste time waiting. I highly recommended the chair-lift as it was so much fun. Do note that, the chair-lift, however, doesn’t have any belt so you must sit carefully along the ride.  Located in the Nort...

The next day, we headed down to the café to have our breakfast as our room stay came with it. I love the breakfast spread, and it was so good as it had a great selection!  We headed straight to West Kowloon Station for our day trip to Shenzhen, China . Crossing over to Mainland China, Shenzhen is pretty simple from Hong Kong, as there is a direct high speed train from West Kowloon Station to Futian Station and it took us only 15mins to reach Shenzhen (both custom clearances take place in West Kowloon Hongkong). Prior to our departure, we purchased our round train tickets to  Futian, Shenzhen  from  KLOOK . We missed our initial selected train timing due to the long lines at the customs into China Border. We were told to seek the assistance from the customer service to change to the next available train.
