A visit to POP BAKERY, Resorts World Sentosa + Kirin Ichiban’s First Press Studio pop-up

Singapore is first country to have a store for POP BAKERY in Southeast Asia. I made an advance reservation for my visit. It is located at Resorts World Sentosa!

POP BAKERY sits on Level 2 of the POP MART store.

I was greeted by a giant MOLLY with a full head of croissant hair once you enter MOLLY’S BAKERY on the 2nd level.

I love the SKULLPANDA sculpture that floated mid-motion above a circular display counter where the bakery’s creations sat under glass bell jars

This POP BAKERY offers a mix of Singapore exclusives and crowd favourites. OMG! All the items on the menu are almost too cute to eat!

MOLLY Double Cheese Cake - New York cheesecake topped with a crowned MOLLY in white chocolate.

We ordered the PUCKY Xiao Long Bao, which is a Singapore exclusive. This is the only item you cannot take away, as it is meant for dining in at the premises only

The presentation:  Soymilk panna cotta and ice cream shaped as a PUCKY dumpling in a steamer basket, with biscuit sticks as chopsticks and a milk chocolate dip.

This is not a budget café visit. A dessert and drink can easily take your bill to SGD30+. I would treat it more like a fan outing than a casual dessert stop

Baby and I visited Kirin Ichiban’s First Press Studio pop-up which is located at Clarke Quay.

To start the journey of Kirin Ichiban - a famous Japanese all-malt beer, we picked up a white card at the pop-up’s entrance, which was used to mark our exploration progress.

At each of the stations, we received a layering stamp, which added a new element and colour to the design. Collect all the stamps to see the completion of the stamp rally artwork!

Upon stepping into the immersive space to explore art installations while discovering the story behind the iconic lager. We also picked up a personalised Kirin Good Fortune Charm, which you can customise with various blessing stamps to create a unique keepsake to take home!

We also experienced a hands-on session at the Ichiban Pour, using the signature 45° pouring technique before enjoying the complimentary glass that I’ve poured for myself!

I end my post with a photo print from The MINI Paul Smith Edition pop-up outside Mandarin Gallery, Orchard.

Lastly, thanks S for getting this cute Pikachu in the professor Robe from Pokemon Centre, Tokyo.
