Partipost announced that they are going to cease Particlub subscription, and I received my second last PartiBox.  Let me share with you guys on the goodies that were delivered to me! I received a bottle of hair essential oil from  Alodia , and it offers various benefits to the hair, such as revitalizing my damaged hair, improving manageability, soften hair texture, taming fly-away hair and provides a long lasting shine. I love the signature Alodia scent! I received a few sample packs from Kose , and these sample packs were for their range series of Sekkisei Clear Wellness . The trial kit consisted of Cleansing Gel, Pure Conc, Refining Milk, Water Shield Cream and Tinted Day & Night Cream. Lastly, I was also given a box of  Chilli Pan Mee by Gu Jia Wei.  Inside the box, there were 6 packs of flat noodles that had sauces and seasoning packets as well. Journey to the West - Jurong Lake Gardens + unboxing the year-end Partibox

Image
It's RKM's journey to the west, as we were excited to visit the new standalone Starbucks at Jurong Lake Gardens which is located near Floating Wetlands. Together with us was the Lee Family, Meryl and Joe!   We are fans of taking photos of and enjoying great scenery, hence we gathered together to explore the  the beautiful greenery scenery at Jurong Lake Gardens. After a short trek, we were greeted by an expanse of rustling grass.  The grasslands are a dreamy part of Jurong Lake Gardens that's just perfect for the 'gram. Another picture-worthy spot includes the B ird Hide , a dome-shaped structure and the ' L one T ree' in the distance! At the heart of the grassland stands a ' Lone Tree' . This tree is an IG-worthy spot for Instagram lovers! The ' Lone Tree'  isn’t a real tree! It is a sculpture made from recycled iron reinforcement bars giving the tree a nice deep brown color.  It  is one of the most photographed spots in the gar...

Lunch at Twyst + Unboxing Partibox + HMM's D&D 2022

I decided to try Twyst which is located at Raffles Place Station with Chewy after she recommended this place to me, and they are known for its pastas. I am a big fan of pasta, and I decided to give it a shot on a random lunch!  I ordered the ‘build your own pasta’ instead of going for the Chef’s Signature list of ready-curated pastas. My lunch order - Miso Butter Penne (with 1 protein and 1 veggie) for SGD9.90. I choose Smoked Duck and Cherry Tomato. I added Mushroom for another SGD1, and the total damage was SGD10.90! The pasta was piping hot when it was served, and I found that it was the perfect amount in terms of portion servings for me! The pasta was perfectly cooked and al dente. I used to dislike fast-cooked take-away pasta, as they generally don't give the quality that I want from a decent pasta dish, but  Twyst  changed my view! I was surprised by the pasta that came in a take-away bowl which tasted so delicious! Overall, the food was good...
