I had a short getaway (3D2N) to Kuala Lumpur (KL) on a weekend by Scoot!! Our flight was 9-ish in the morning, and we reached the airport around 730pm on a Friday morning. The moment we landed in KLIA2 , it was time for brunch.  As usual, Daddy Mike picked up us from the airport, and we still maintained our usual habit of having Bak Kut Teh for our breakfast. The joint that we normally go to is  Restoran Chuan Chiew ! This eatery is at Subang Jaya SS14 , and if you are nearby, do give it a try! We checked in to the  Sunway Pyramid Hotel for 2 nights’ stay. We were upgraded as the previous room given to us wasn't up to mark. Thankfully, the upgraded room was spacious and clean. I love to go JB for shopping and makan-ing over the weekend in order to take advantage of the exchange rate. Recently, the ringgit is getting stronger again, as compared to earlier this year around in January and February. Oh well, no matter what, it is still cheaper as compared to Singapore.   Recently, I picked up the  3CE Slim Fit Powder Pact SPF25 PA++ (#001). I really like it as it is easy to carry during travelling due to it is slim fit that is enough to fit in my make-up pouch! It is not the best one I've ever used before, but it's still pretty decent. I paid RM39 (SGD13+) from Kio Da which is located at Taman Mount Austin, JB.   Apart from that, I also picked up a cute necklace at RM15 at Kio Da too.       I managed to obtain some In-Shower Body Lotion  samples from NIVEA , and after using it, I fell in love with this product. I was therefore, very happy to find the same product at Tesco, JB! ...

We drove up to Subang Jaya, PJ Kuala Lumpur again for a weekend getaway. Upon reaching, we chanced upon a newly opened shopping mall in USJ . This lifestyle shopping mall is named ' Da:Men' , and it is chockfull with greats shops and restaurants for a fantastic shopping/dining experience. Da:Men is the literal translation of 'Big Door' in Mandarin, and one can summarise that the mall was named such in order to have ' Doors of Prosperity' feel. Although the mall is located on the outskirts of KL town, the shopping concept is fresh and innovative,and provides the nicest retail therapy and dining experience to patrons.   At KOMONOYA , everything is priced under the single amount of RM5.30!!!
