Ah Mah Homemade Cake is a bakery from Malaysia that specializes in Castella Cakes, and is widely known for it's fantastic quality and taste. Now, they've opened an outlet at VivoCity, and I was present to taste the yummy Castella Cakes during the media launch! I loved it very much! Ah Mah Homemade Cake was first opened in Restoran Poh Yap, Kota Kemuning, Malaysia . Within a short period of 2 months, they opened 14 outlets across the country. The very first Singapore outlet was opened at Bukit Panjang Plaza on the 14th of July 2017. 6 days later, they opened the second outlet at VivoCity. The sponge cake is inspired by the popular egg sponge cake originating from Tamsui (Danshui), Taiwan.
