I chanced upon Hold-Zhu Tea way back in 2013, and at the time, its location was at Taman Desa Tebrau . It was the café/restaurant that I've ever seen that utilized shipping containers as its premises! Now, it has been re-named it as ' The Metallic Kitchen' .   Recently, I went to their second branch at Golden Triangle Pelangi, Taman Pelangi for some teas and snacks.   As mentioned before, The Metallic Kitchen was set up using recycled shipping containers which made it environmentally friendly. My treat to welcome 2015! Baby and I went to Melben in Toa Payoh for our celebration dinner.  We arrived around 5pm-ish, as we wanted to be early in order to avoid the usual dinner crowds, and hence no queuing for us *wink*    We ordered Braised Tofu , and of course, everybody's favourite dish of Claypot Bee Hoon Soup with Crab!   I love the sweetness of the soup and the crab flesh tasted fresh too. The slippery bee hoon has been perfectly cooked. Thanks Kay for the invite! I attended the Discovering LilyLolo at Esette Gourmets & Gifts which is located at Duxton Road. It is a small cafe which serves brunch, finger-snacks, desserts and beverages.   Prior to the event, I have never heard of LilyLolo although it is a UK brand. I only know brands like Barry M, No7, Sleek Makeup and Scarlett & Crimson , so this event was definitely an eye-opener for me. LilyLolo was launched in 2005 and was named after 2 founders. The products are free from parabens thus they are suitable for all skin types, even for sensitive skin too.    LilyLolo carries a wide collection of shades for mineral foundation that suit many different skin tones. I was recommended the 'China Doll' (one of the foundation shades) to try on my face and it has pretty good coverage and lightweight as well. I looked natural, and akin to a second skin layer, as the color matched my skin tone very well! ...

  Pondok Kartika is located at Changi City Point Mall , and they serve comfort Indonesian cuisine. Baby and I had our dinner on a random weekend, and the damage was SGD44-ish.     B eancurd marinated and deep fried with egg, topped with shredded cucumbers and a special sweet sauce.
