Dinner at Red Sparrow + Beauty Pop-up store

Image
I visited the 'Red Sparrow' with my baby for dinner, which is nestled in the historic Dempsey Hill. The Red Sparrow is a fancy Vietnamese Restaurant, which colourful oriental lanterns and decor add to its unique ambiance.       We ordered the Ph ơ ̉ B ò Vi ê n - house special Vietnamese beef balls and Ph ơ ̉ G à - boneless chicken leg and house special chicken meatballs as our mains   We shared the Chả Giò (deep fried rolls) - stuffings of fresh crabmeat, prawns, minced pork and taro with a tangy sweet fish sauce     Red Sparrow offers iconic street favorites of Vietnam! Vietnamese street food such as Pho and Banh Mi are favorite comfort food to the locals as well as tourists. I had a delightful dinner at Red Sparrow , as they serve very authentic Vietnamese food! The ingredients in the Pho were generous and do try the Chả Giò   Fried Rolls which were delicious! The ambience is very colorful as well as classy, hence do give...

NYLON X VanityTrove Exclusive Edition

Image
Have you heard about the amazing collaboration between NYLON and VANITYTROVE ? This is one of the exclusive editions that you cannot miss out on. I want to get one for myself as I am always a supporter for both NYLON and VANITYTROVE, and now this is the time to show my love for them... I love the packaging for the NYLON TROVE as the combination of black and gold meansclassy and glamorous. I purchased the exclusive trove from VanityTrove's webbie recently, as there was a limited-time special promotion going on for bloggers and I paid half price for the NYLON Exclusive Edition Trove (UP: SGD35). The NYLON Trove was worth for its original price, and for the price I paid, it is even better as the trove featured many brands of prestige. This trove is filled with NYLON's editors' picks and all I can say is it is truly fabulous... Revealing the surprises from the NYLON Trove... Redken Smooth Lock Shampoo / Conditioner ...

Jess Baby loves Korean Cuisine!!

Image
Joo Mak Korean Restaurant is located at Beauty Word Centre , along Upper Bukit Timah Road, and it offers the best traditional Korean Cuisine.     I had a very good dinner on a random weekday at Joo Mak Korean Restaurant with my Baby. Though I have been to Beauty Word Centre several times but it is my first time dining in there.    The plentiful side dishes (Banchan) made me feel hungry though our main course was yet to be served.   We ordered the Military Stew aka Army Stew and shared it between the two of us as the portion is really large and it is good for 2-3 people or even for 4 persons for small eaters. It is our all-time favorite and it tasted delicious. Though the stew does come with noodles, but Baby still ordered an additional bowl of rice for his eating pleasure as he is a rice person. The damage was SGD31.     I love going for Korean Cuisine as the highlight of dining in a Kor...
