On a random Sunday, we decided to go and visit Johor, Malaysia. To beat the traffic, we used the second link instead of our usual route of the Woodlands causeway link. The Woodlands route is actually nearer to our home, but it's always jammed so we decided to go in by Tuas instead. Upon clearing the customs, we drove to Bukit Indah for shopping and of course to do lunch. We settled at Kinashi Japanese Restaurant.     Baby had Chirashi Don, while I had Tenzaru Soba. I love my main very much as it combines two of my favorite classic Japanese dishes: tempura seafood and vegetables, and Zaru-style cold noodles.       We also shared a Dragon Mango Roll. The damage was pretty hefty at around RM123+ (including drinks).   As I stated in one of my previous posts, one of our favorite eateries at Taman Mount Austin had shut down recently and was now permanently closed. As we are nearing the end of December, it is time to bid goodbye to 2019 and to prepare to welcome in 2020! It is the time for sharing good tidings and caring for the people around us. Chewy, CK, Meryl and I planned a meal gathering date with one another, and we decided to meet at Nando's Singapore, Plaza Singpura .   We indulged ourselves with the Mango & Lime PERi-PERi Party platter for 4pax! Each platter comes with a large variety of offerings that consist of whole   PERi-PERi Chicken, 1 Cheesy PERi-PERi Loaded Chips, 4 Regular Sides of choice, and 4 Bottomless Soft Drinks.   The Party Platter for 4 is awesome value when it come to sharing. It is great for year-end celebrations! Happy Halloween! I brought my nephew 'Hay-Boy' for a Halloween Fun Treat at the Pasir Ris Sport Centre . He had fun trying out the booth activities. He enjoyed himself very much, especially on the segment - ‘Create your own ghostly drink’.     I took a random photo of him outside the haunted house which was full of spiders!    Cute Hay Boy in a cowboy/leprechaun/Halloween juxtapose! I am glad that he enjoyed himself although the whole area was quite chaotic!   To be honest, I was quite lost upon reaching the premises as there was no proper indication of what or where we should get started. Ps: we couldn’t find the registration booth, till we asked one of the vendors.    Looking forward to more events in the future!      An alternate ‘Fri Date’ for me is to explore new food joints in our sunny homeland! PERi-PERi Christmas ! 🎄     As we are nearing the end of December, it's that time of the year again! Christmas is around the corner! It is the time for sharing good tidings and caring for the people around us. HP, CK, YYANN and I planned a meal gathering date with one another, and we decided to meet at Nando's Singapore, Plaza Singpura.      We indulged ourselves with the Smoky PERi-PERi sharing platter for 4pax! Each platter comes with a large variety and offerings with 1 whole Smoky PERi-PERi Chicken, 1 Cheesy Garlic Pita, 5 Regular Sides of choice, and 4 Bottomless Soft Drinks.      We had a delightful yet value-for-money meal, as the total damage was SGD57.90 (under SGD15 per person).
