After using the Small Pukong (Dandelion) sample pack, I decided to  purchase the  the retail sized version of the  'Ginger Root Amino Acid' Shampoo , as well as the 'Daily Treatment Amino Acid' Hair Mask via Lazada , in order to make full use of the 9.9 sales! I found that the hair mask works so well, so I decided to splurge on it! I do love the scent and effectiveness of this product very much!  After using them, my  hair has become more manageable and smoother.  My colleague J  has recently been promoted to Sales Manager. In order to celebrate this happy occasion, he brought the CSR/SALES team out for a lunch! We went to  'Mad for Garlic', which is a Korean/Italian fusion restaurant. I started off  with the Yuza Ade which is literally Yuzu Lemonade. We shared a plate of salad before our main courses were served .   I had Triple Seafood Pasta , and I enjoyed it very much. The aroma of garlic used on my entree won me over. We had...

[random] Weekend Dim Sum + Mad for Garlic

Image
I spend almost all of my weekends now with my Baby Hubby at the comfort of our apartment in Woodlands, and as usual we had our usual Sunday brekkie with Mum Vi. This time, we went to East Bistro which is tucked away in the corner of a street which is not far from Sembawang Shopping Centre.     East Bistro is a hidden gem selling Hong Kong cuisine with a wide choice of dim sum and zi char. I was surprised that the former head chef of Lei Garden Singapore is now at the helm of East Bistro.     We ordered the usual dim sum items, and they tasted pretty good! We will definitely come back again to fulfil our Dim Sum craving.   As our company is located in the Suntec City Tower Office, we were given discount and cash vouchers from Suntec City Management. Baby joined me at Mad for Garlic on a random weekday as I decided to use one of the cash vouchers which was worth SGD20, in order to get a discount on our di...

[all about food] SG + KL FOOD GEM

A short weekend getaway to KL, Malaysia is something I always look forward to, as it is a chance to recharge myself after a week of stressful work. We drove up on  a Saturday morning at 5am, and we reached KL at 10.30am. We did our usual routine upon reaching Uncle Mike's place which was shopping, makan-ing and lepak-ing.   At night, Uncle Mike drove us to Kepong to try out Sze Ngan Chye's famous Roasted Duck. The restaurant actually first opened at Petaling Street, which is located at the heart of KL Town . Luckily, they opened another branch at Kepong which only required 20 minutes of driving from Uncle Mike's place.   Apart of having the succulent roasted duck, I also had Minced Pork Spinach Noodles , and it tasted delicious! Thanks for the heart-warming dinner!     The next morning, Uncle Mike brought us to Pudu, KL town area for famous San Peng Prawn Noodles for brunch. This yummy bowl of prawn noodles nev...
