Gala Premiere of Lucky Boy
Recently, I was invited by Clover Films to the Gala Premiere of 'Lucky Boy' which will be screened in theatres on the 18th May 2017. The Gala Premiere was held at the Capitol Theatre. 20 years ago, Chew Chor Meng played an unforgettable character in the Channel 8's sitcom, 'Don't Worry Be Happy' as Lobang King. Now, he has been paired up with the newest 'Lobang King' of the new generation of actors, (Wang Wei Liang), whereby he acts as Wei Liang's father in the film. I was excited and looking forward to see the acting chemistry between the two upon receiving this invitation. Happily, I was not disappointed by their acting. This movie also marks the first time for Wang Wei Liang in scoring his first lead role!
