[we bare bears] Funfest at the Palawan Beach, Sentosa + Sunday brunch

Image
My Saturday LOTD!   A Saturday's Lunch with Baby at Seah Im Food Centre!! I had my favorite 'Lor Mee', which came in generous portions. The gravy was savory, and gave the noodles an irresistible coat of delightful flavour! Best of all, it was very affordable at SGD3, and was certainly value for money! After lunch, we had a date to visit Palawan Beach on Sentosa island , as we wanted to check out Cartoon Network's 'We Bare Bears' , a cartoon that is about three brother bears. Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2014 + [Imperial Treasure] Dim Sum lunch

Baby entered himself to the full marathon (42.195KM) for Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2014 , and it was his very first full marathon after taking part in various other shorter runs, such as the Army Half Marathon and other 10KM distances!  His run flagged off at Orchard Road (beside Mandarin Orchard Singapore) and ended at the Padang. I am so proud of my Baby for finishing his whole race within the time frame without much training before the race. As we made our way out from the race village, he shared with me the ups and downs ...

2014 Double celebrations

This year, 2014, Yuan Xiao Jie (last day of CNY) falls on the same day as Valentine Day . To me, I value the Chinese Traditions more than anything so after a long discussion with Baby, we decided to go to  Ming Kee Live Seafood for our celebration.   Ming Kee Live Seafood is known for their fresh seafood and delicious cze char dishes, and the restaurant is located at Macpherson Road . We went for the Cino-Valentine Day Set Dinner which included a small Yu Sheng for 2.     'Lo Hei' during the CNY period is believed to bring good luck and prosperity for the   whole year, so we will never miss out on the last chance to do it on the last day of CNY.   Apart from the mini Yu Sheng, the set included some signature dishes from Ming Kee Live Seafood . Both of us enjoyed the Fried Fish Skin with Greenies . It tasted even better with the accompanying dip.   Bamboo Clam with Garlic was delicious, and I sav...
