Sunday Brunch at Tigress + Dinner at Manzoku Japanese Restaurant

Image
TIGRESS  is a Korean-fusion restaurant and gastro bar located at Orchard Gateway, level 3 . The place had a great ambience with a pretty aesthetic feel, and is definitely a picturesque place for meetups and drinks. You’ll never run out of photo-worthy spots when visiting this eatery place! We kept saying ‘ daebak’ the moment we entered the premises, as It boasts a tropical urban jungle with wooden furniture and a rustic setting. We came for their weekend brunch which is from 11am – 3pm on both Saturdays and Sundays. We shared the TIGRESS PLATTER, which served up Gourmet Sausages, Streaky Beacon, Scrambled Eggs, a large Portobello Mushroom, Roasted Tomatoes, Tater Tots, and Kimchi on crusty bread - Crostini.  The portion was pretty generous. Apart from the platter, we also had the TIGRESS RIBEYE RICE BOWL which consisted of Rice, Sliced Charred Ribeye Bulgogi Meat, Scrambled Eggs, Mushroom, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Spring Onion, Kimchi, Sesame, Chili Flakes. The well-marinated bu...

[second outlet] Little Sheep Hot Pot at Orchard Gateway

Image
Mala Hotpot is trending among Singaporeans, and many hotpot restaurants have been sprouting up one after another! Little Sheep Hot Pot which is run by No Signboard Holding Ltd opened its second outlet which is located at Orchard Gateway after its success flagship at One Fullerton. Do check out my previous coverage here ! I was glad to be invited for a tasting session on the opening day, and to my joy so were my blogging mates! I love to gather with my friends or family to have a good steamboat/hotpot, as it offers a heart-warming communal dining experience whereby everyone is at the table, cooking their favorite ingredients in simmering hot soup. A short introduction about ‘Little Sheep Hot Pot’ - it is a well-known restaurant which was established since 1999, with their origins from Inner Mongolia.  We were served with the dual flavor pot consisting of the Original White Soup and Spicy Mala Soup. I love the Original White Soup as it tasted uber del...

Happy 1st Anniversary!         We (Jasmine, Meryl and Yours Truly) dropped by the  Triumph retail store at Orchard Gateway for their first year Anniversary. They offer many great deals which are only made available at this outlet.       The store offers an array of their ' Maximizer' series , which selections have been available for 2 decades. Do not feel shy to ask for a private fitting session with the friendly staffs. Feel it and wear it to see the difference yourself!         As Triumph is celebrating its 20 years of Maximizer Magic , there are some designs which caught my attention and they are the  Aqua (2009), Sexy Cushion (2011), Body Make-Up (2013) and lastly my personal favorite, Magic Wire (2015).           The Body Make-Up (2013) comes with breathable cups for ventilation to suit women with se...

[random eats] Mrs Pho + Noodles Place Restaurant

Image
I used to like Nam Nam Noodles Bar very much, till baby brought me to a new joint named  'Mrs Pho', which is located at Beach Road. Mrs Pho is opened by Vietnamese nationals, and they promise a slice of Saigon when you enter the premises! There is no fusion in the menu, as they offer only traditional Vietnamese food. I had Brisket Beef Noodle (Pho Nam) for myself, and the flat rice noodle was cooked to perfection. I love the broth too, and I always enhance the taste of the soup by squeezing lime and adding a dash of fish sauce. that Vietnamese restaurants always provide. Baby ordered the Special Beef Combo Noodle Soup (Pho Sac Biet) which came with slices of fatty brisket, beef slices and beef meatballs. The sweet broth tasted just perfect for his taste buds. We shared the Papaya Salad (Goi Du Du ), and it was delicious! I love the  Fried Spring Roll (Cha Gio) very much! Each spring roll is stuffed with a juicy fil...
