'SARA' is a Hong Kong film directed by Herman Yau, and produced by Chapman To. It explores the dark secrets of the sex tourism industry in Asia. The movie is starring Charlene Choi and Simon Yam as the protagonists, and the show will be premiering in Singapore on the 26th of March. The movie is rated as R21, with no cuts.   Both Charlene Choi and Simon Yam won the Best Actor and Best Actress at the Macau International Movie Festival for their Category III Film, ‘SARA’ last year. A few days ago, I was invited by Clover Films to the special preview of the movie, Fashion King, which premiered on the 12th of March 2015. 'Fashion King' is a Korean movie based on a webtoon of the same name, and story plot of the movie is pretty simple and straight forward. It tells us of a story of a boy who wants to catch the attention of the prettiest girl in school and eventually steps into a world of fashion. In Korea, this movie raked in a total of more than 2.5 billion KRW within the first 4 days of screening and it is very popular among teenagers and young working adults. A few days ago, I attended the movie screening of 'Meet Miss Anxiety' , and it was a fruitful one. I got the pleasure to be one of the first few to catch this preview, all thanks to Clover films . The premiere date is on the 05 Feb 2015 .  The Korean movie - ‘My Sassy Girl’ was a smash-hit in 2001, and was directed by Kwak Jae-Yong, where his latest romantic-comedy film, ‘Meet Miss Anxiety’ has made an impact in the movie industry. It has made a smash at the box office ever since its film debut in December 2014. The movie starts with a graduation day, Qi Jia (starring Zhou Xun) shows up in a wedding dress and went up on stage to recite her vows to the love of her life, Liu Chong (played by Wallace Chung) but got rejected. 'The Taking of Tiger Mountain' is a Chinese-Hong Kong 3D epic action film which is based on the novel, 'Tracks in the Heavy Forest' by Qu Bo. This movie is also Tsui Hark's latest 3D legendary battle during a period of one of the many Chinese civil wars. Personally, I found the balance between the reality and fantasy setting, which t he movie tries to portray a little off and lacking. This was probably due to the movie being his first one with a historical setting. Nevertheless, it was pretty entertaining, and it may not be a classic Tsui film but definitely a decent one! There is some slo-mo shots meant to justify the price of 3D for those who paid extra to see it with the additional dimension. Hong Kong veteran, Tony Leung acts as a villain in the show. Many people are afraid of ghosts, but there are some fearless ones who are always prepared to venture into the darkness, for a chance to see the ghost of a person they love dearly.   Thanks to Clover Films as they invited me to a preview screening of The Eyes Diary , and it is a horror movie with a combination of elements of touching love and drama      The movie is about a young man's uncanny ability to see ghosts. Nott (played by Prama Immanothai) lost his girlfriend, Pla (starring Focus Jirakul) who died in a tragic motorcycle accident. Nott wants to meet his girlfriend again, so he decided to join the body-removing emergency unit as a volunteer who needs to rush to the crime scene or auto accidents. It has been a long time since I watch western movies as lately, I have been watching quite a number of Asian movies, which I was kindly invited to by Clover Films.     After a long hiatus of twenty years, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are back together again in Dumb and Dumber To , and it is the sequel to the 1994 smash movie, Dumb and Dumber . The two characters, Harry and Lloyd have become the favorite comedy icons / idols due to the portrayal by Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. It has been a long time since I walked into a theatre to watch a movie, so recently Baby arranged an in-season movie for me and we watched Robocop. Now I am back again to the theatre (GV MAX) to attend the Gala Premiere of Winter’s Tale .   Winter's Tale is a supernatural drama film based on the 1983 novel by Mark Helprin .
