How I spend my weekends?
I love spending quality time with my Baby on weekends! Baby brought me to a coffee shop which is located Geylang Lorong 17 to try out an eatery that serves Ipoh style Chee Chong Fun , which is served in a curry broth. I had the Curry Chee Cheong Fun is a staple dish in Ipoh that is served with pigskin and long beans in a curry broth! Apart from the Curry Chee Cheong Fun, we also had Yong Tau Foo in Hot Soup . We picked and chose our food items at the stall display. We also had the must-have food item which is known as ' Sak Kok Liew' in Cantonese. The Turnip is wrapped with dried shrimps and rolled into a circular shape with beancurd skin, and then deep-fried until it turns golden brown! I really enjoyed the crispiness of the exterior, as well as the firmness of the interior! I was delighted to find this hidden gem in Geylang for Yong Tau Foo and Curry Chee Cheong Fun fix!
