[Northwestern USA trip] Day 7 in Portland - Downtown Portland

Good morning, Portland, Oregon ! We wanted to explore Portland after our brekkie at the hotel café, as the hotel provide their in-house guests a pair of complimentary street-car tickets every morning when they head out for their day. Luckily for us, the street-car station is located right outside the hotel! We picked up the tickets at the reception, and we made use of them to explore Downtown Portland !  Portland, Oregon is compact and easy to get around, and there is good public transportation available. The locals are friendly and there are many choices of delicious food! First stop: Pioneer Courthouse Square We grabbed some snacks from the food truck and hot coffee from Starbucks to relax at the Pioneer Courthouse Square, which is also known as Portland's living room. [Northwestern USA trip] Day 6 in Seattle/Portland - Mt Rainier National Park

It's our last day in Seattle! We were heading down to Portland next, after a quick breakfast at the Cherry Street Coffee House which is located at Belltown (about 5-7 mins walk from our apartment.) This eatery place is a nice little gem in downtown Seattle. They serve excellent Bagels and i loved the cozy and chilled setting. We checked out from our apartment and drove to Mount Rainier National Park which is located at the Southeast of Seattle. No trip to Seattle would be complete without a trip to Mount Rainier . It is an active volcano covered in ice and snow nearly all year round.    I loved and enjoyed all the fresh clean air as well as the views of the waterfalls and other naturally beautiful landmarks such as river valleys and meadows.
