Baby received a mooncake gift from his colleague, and the snow-skin mooncakes are from Fairmont Singapore . The Champagne Truffle & Chocolate Ganache tasted great! We have been staying at SUO for about a year plus, and we were delighted to have again received a box of mooncakes f rom our neighbor during the Mid-Autumn Festival . It is so sweet, and of course, we did a gift exchange too ! We started our tradition in celebrating this occasion ever since since 2013, where we had always made it a point to spend quality time with each other by strolling in a park with lanterns.  This year, we decided to stay indoor to carry out our mini celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival  due to my clique being busy with their own family things. Mcdonald's has again offered something to 'die for', and its none other than the ' Pikachu - Pokemon' Holder! This follows the same craze when they launched 'My Melody' and ‘Hello Kitty’ Holder! My Baby is so sweet to get me one! M...

[random-ness] Shopping at Changi City Point + Teochew Yam Mooncake by Mdm Ling Bakery

Mask fashion is trending lately, and my favorite colleague, EL got me a cute face mask with Tokidoki prints. Thanks for the lovely mask, and I love it loads! I took a day off from work, and my perfect Friday is to spend quality time with my Baby! It has been a long hiatus since I last visited the  Jalan Tua Kong Lau Lim Mee Pok  aka  ‘Art of Mee Pok’ . Both Baby and I were craving for fishball noodles, so Baby drove down to Simpang Bedok to satisfy our cravings. After our lunch, we went over to Changi City Point for some retail therapy. We shopped hard at Nike Outlet Store  as it offers an additional 40% discount off your total purchase if you pick 4 items or more! I picked up these running shoes and the final price I paid was SGD36 as I combined this purchase with my baby's 3 other items! I love the gold color of the shoes that goes well with most of my outfits! Starbucks  is our favorite haunt for afternoon tea, so we always end up spending our 'RKMoment'...

2D1N KL Weekend Staycation + SG Food Gem

A short weekend getaway to KL, Malaysia is something I always look forward to, as it is a chance to recharge myself after a week of stressful work. We left home around 5.30am and drove up to KL, whereby we arrived around 10am-ish! Our usual routine upon arriving was to plonk our car at the workshop for servicing, while heading for shopping, makan-ing and lepak-ing!     Daddy Mike brought us for breakfast, and we drove up to Shah Alam for some Penang street food fare. We settled at Restoran Gurney Delight.     The Penang Prawn Mee tasted pretty decent, and it was served in an aromatic Prawn stock soup, which was topped with prawn slices, fish cakes, hard boiled egg slices and vegetables. The accompanying home-made chilli paste was a bonus!    Restoran Gurney Delight is the right place for you if you wish to taste some traditional styles of Penang street food, as most of the ingredients are originally from Penang.  ...
