I started my new year with my first 5KM Fun Run with Herbalife's Marina Run 2018 ! The Marina Run is one of the more loved events that is usually held at the Marina Bay area. This competitive event has it all: A 5KM fun run, 10KM and 21KM. For this year in 2018, a new option of 30KM was introduced! Upon receiving the email from the organisation to pick up the race pack at Raffles City Shopping Centre , Baby and I made our way there on a Saturday to pick them up. We were glad that queue for the collection was pretty smooth! The race pack consisted of a Brooks running tee, a pair of running socks, as well as a pair of LED shoelaces ! This event had a lot of 'firsts' for me for this year! We had our First run in 2018, our First run as a married couple, our first participation in the Marina Run, and lastly, our first time completing a race by crossing the finishing line hand in hand with my Baby! DreamWorks Day 2017 was the first DreamWorks themed running event in Asia! Runners had a choice to have their children participate in the 800M kid dash or to join the 5KM fun run ! You did not need to be a running junkie to enjoy the event, as there was a fun carnival at the race village, which offered various kid-friendly activities for the whole family.     Baby and I signed up for the 5km fun run, and as a fan of the animated movies, I was really looking forward to the run. The race pack was collected at Velocity and the collection was smooth. There wasno queue at all!        At the carnival, 'The Rock Wall' was very popular among the children!        We ran along the scenic route of Gardens by the Bay (East). Hello everyone, Fancy running with your favorite DreamWorks characters? If your answer is YES, you might want to join the first DreamWorks Run in Asia that will be taking place on the 24th of June 2017 , at Gardens By The Bay, Bay East Gardens . Meet and greet the colorful cast of characters from ' Shrek', 'Kungfu Panda' , ' How to train your Dragon' and ' Madagascar' as they will be welcoming everyone at DreamWorks Day. There will be a themed carnival filled with games, activities, food, beverages and of course, the fun run itself. Participants can choose from a  800M (Kids Dash ) or 5KM route along some of Singapore's iconic landmarks.
