My weekend getaway to KL

Image
Hello Collar ; Hiya Carrie After a long hiatus, I finally re-visited Jin Xuan Hong Kong Dim Sum Restaurant for my brekkie. There are so many nice choices of food at Petaling Jaya , and we are always spoilt for choices. Like what my Baby always says: we have so much nice food, but we only have one stomach! I love the dim sum goodness! Do beware of the dim sum photos galore!   We had Egg Tart , Fried Carrot Cake, Pork Porridge, Lotus Leaf Glutinous Rice, Braised Chicken Feet, Siew Mai, Har Gow and Stuffed Eggplant.   Every entrée we ordered tasted wonderful, and I had a great breakfast to start my brand new day!   Baby and I went to Sunway Pyramid for lunch, and we settled at Sushi Jiro for an affordable meal.   Each plate is charged at RM2.99, and we paid RM75 for 23 plates. If you are looking for nice and cheap sushi, then this eatery is a perfect place for you.  Time to share my loots o...

Christmas Eve party cum gift-exchange in office + Happy hauling at I.T Fashion

I expected Christmas 2014 to be spent normally in the office, but surprisingly, it turned up to an exceptionally fun Christmas Eve.     Everyone wasn't in the mood to work, and the head of our dept organised a Christmas Eve lunch celebration. Apart from the sweets (L og Cake and Santa Jelly), she bought some sushi and of course the main role of this celebration, the roasted turkey. Some of the colleagues had brought some potluck too, such as Salad in Italian Dressing, Curry Chicken and Mac & Cheese at the party.     There was a gift-exchange after the X'mas lunch, and I love it very much! It was heart-warming as Christmas is a season of giving.        I got a Jack Sparrow Vinyl Figure during the gift-exchange. The figurine looked so cute and I love it loads though I prefer the Disney collaboration instead.       Disney collaboration - Mickey Mouse X Jack Sparrow ...

Weekend getaway to Kuala Lumpur

I had a short getaway to Kuala Lumpur (KL) on a weekend by Tiger Air!! Our flight was 10-ish and we reached the airport pretty early on a Saturday morning. We did our check-in, and we went to have some brekkie before boarding the plane. As I was craving for a local-style breakfast, so both Baby and I went to Tip Top which is located at the Departure Transit Lounge of Terminal 2. Tip Top is a snack place for Asian food, and they are also known for their classic curry puffs made with special family recipe. I had Fried Mee Hoon with Chicken Wing and Baby had Nasi Lemak which comes with Chicken Wing too. We completed our brekkie with 2 cups of Teh-O with less sugar.     After our brekkie, we headed up to the  Entertainment Deck for some gaming sessions. There are several of game console stations available for us to choose from. Singapore Changi Airport is so thoughtful to provide the facilities for passengers to while their time away at the...
