An impromptu dinner at Masizzim

Image
A handful of us had an impromptu dinner at Masizzim which is located at 313 Somerset . It is a Korean eatery place which is specializes in Korean Meat Stew and Pancakes! Be prepared to wait if you are coming in a big group, such as we were, as no reservations are allowed. We waited for almost 35mins plus for our table for 6 pax. We ordered 3 different types of Korean signature stew, which consisted of Spicy Chicken, Beef and Pork. Each stew ordered came with a bowl of white rice. Three simple steps to order the meat stew:- 1) Choose the types of meat 2) Choose noodles type - glass noodles or Korean-style udon 3) Choose between soy and spicy level from level 1-4 Out of the 3 different type of meat stew we ordered, I personally like the Beef Stew best. [food review] Dinner date with Tee-saurus Bloggers at Krazy Salad

A couple of weeks ago, I had a dinner date with Lawrens, the owner of 'Tee-saurus' as well as 2 other bloggers from 'Tee-saurus' Group , Pearly and Tracy at a restaurant called ' Krazy Salad' .      This family restaurant has a semi-buffet concept which is located in the heartland of Toa Payoh, and it offers value-for-money main courses as well as a salad bar which consists of generous selections of various spread.       I love the signature All-You-Can-Eat Salad Bar as they never fail to disappoint with their variety of choices that have a wholesome taste and are of a premium quality. It is a definitely a great place for kids to kick-start their healthy eating habits, and everybody knows that a good lifestyle starts from a young age.      A quick overview of the salad bar has it being free with any main course ordered! However, do note an important house rule , is that ev...

Lovely evening at Wihardja Furniture Showroom

Image
I was invited to a cosy blogger gathering for a hearty Indonesian dinner at Wihardja Furniture Showroom which is located at Enterprise One (Kaki Bukit).     pic credits to Meryl Upon entering the premises, it is stocked full of Teak and Suar Wood furniture .   Each piece of furniture is well handcrafted, with a natural wood finish, wax/varnish finish. This also comes in 4 different color tones.  The Suar Wood appeared nicer in my eyes mainly it was polished and smooth in touching.     pic credits to Claudia   Wihardja  has 2 showrooms in Singapore (Kaki Bukit and Toh Guan). They are specialising in teakwood furniture, wood accessories as well as pottery wares that are made in Indonesia. They have a factory which is located in Central Java .  There is no middleman involved during transaction, and therefore customers can enjoy top notch teakwood furniture at an affordable price.   What ...
