Recently, I've developed a new found love for Japanese 'Mikan' Oranges after attending the Arida Mikan tasting session at the Japan Rail Café . I am glad to experience its fragrance and sweetness before everyone else does! I am happy to know that these oranges are now available in Singapore! The Arida 'Mikan' Orange has a long and beloved history in Japan for nearly 450 years, and has been well loved by the Japanese for many generations.They are grown on the terraced mountains slopes of Arida, a city in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. The land and climate of Arida is ideal for growing premium Mikan.   These oranges are favored by many Chefs all over Japan due to the excellent balance of sweetness and freshness. I attended the K BEAUTY LIVE MAKEOVER event/workshop which was held at THE FACE SHOP – Nature Collection, Plaza Singapura. This event was held in conjunction with the launch of the 2017 Holiday Special Collection, and all attendees enjoyed a 1-for-1 shopping deal on selected items. THE FACE SHOP had a collaboration with DREAMWORKS's 'Trolls' , and both Linda and I were delighted with the products from this collection, especially as they were going for the price of 1 for 1! After a 3-month hiatus, I re-visited Cucina Italian Restaurant's outlet at the Aperia Mall. Baby and I love this mall very much as it is very quiet and we can find what we want to eat and buy most of the time. Most importantly, it is very near to my house!     Currently, they are having an 1-for-1 promotion all day special for both Lunch and Dinner! Therefore, baby and I decided to have our Sunday dinner at Cucina!     We ordered a Pizza and Vongole Linguine to share between us. I love the amount of clams that were added to the pasta, and the pizza tasted fabulous.     Apart from the mains, we also ordered a sharing portion of Fried Calamari Rings.
