[W Singapore Hotel] Splash & Dash F1 Themed Pool Party -

Image
Every September annually in Singapore, the whole island will be focusing on the night race, the  Formula One (F1) Singapore Grand Prix. Many parties with F1 theme were lined up to celebrate the special occasion. All thanks to Geraldine, we had the pleasure to attend the Exclusive Splash & Dash F1 Themed Pool Party . With the invite, we gained access to the Wet Bar and the pool at W Singapore Hotel, Sentosa Cove . We indulged ourselves with pizza and drink at the pool party. We spent our lazed afternoon at the pool party by chatting, swimming and even selfie-ing.   Our afternoon was well spent with my peers and we enjoyed the music spun by Grammy Award Winning Duo, Dirty Vegas. I end my post with random gifts received from colleagues who just came back from their holidays. I received a tin of tea leaves and Innisfree Mask from Chloe who went to Shanghai for holiday.   Thanks my favorite gir...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my lovely Dearie, Meryl!   2 days before her actual birthday, a group of us (Fif, Joanne, Jasmine, Ryden and yours truly) arranged a dinner celebration at P Bistro which is located at the  Palais Renaissance .       We started off with Truffle Fries + Sweet Potato Fries , and they are perfect snacks to start our meal.   Birthday gal and I had Nonya Dory served on Fresh Banana Leaf .     Fif and Jasmine had Prawn Aglio Olio Pasta.     Joanne ordered Duck Confit for herself while Ryden had Medium-rare Steak .     We got a slice of Hazelnut Chocolate Cake for Meryl.      Happy birthday and many sweet returns. Enjoy your day!   We had a wonderful time there and we chatted about everything under the sun.     I went shopping at Temt again VivoCity, and I picked up a graphic top at a sale pric...

Birthday Celebration with friends

Image
My blogging peer have a gathering group, '4 peas in a pod' and consists of the following 4 members: Damien aka Tehpeng, Tracy, Samuel and Yours Truly! Both Tehpeng and I are January Babies, and we decided to celebrate our birthday together our group! We went down to the  Standing Sushi Bar which is located at the Singapore Art Museum (8QSAM). The queue was horrendous, and we waited for about 45-60mins for just a table of 4. There was a 50% promotion on Sashimi, so we ordered a large plate of Salmon Sashimi. Apart from the Sashimi, we had Agedashi Tofu, Prawn Sushi Roll, Sushi Bar's Salmon Aburi Roll and Cold Soba Noodle (Zaru Soba). Thanks Samuel and Tracy for the dinner treat! After our dinner, we headed down to Liang Seah Street by foot. We settled at Dessert First for some sweet fix. We ordered Mango Shaved Ice and Waffles with Vanilla Ice-cream to share among us. We had a delightful yet sinful treat. Thanks once again to...

[Japan Hoilday] I miss Tokyo!

Image
Harajuku is one of the famous fashion shopping areas in Tokyo, and nobody will fail to visit here when visiting Tokyo as it is filled with nice fashionable shops, cafes and restaurants.     Takeshita-Dori is a street of Harajuku that Daiso's flagship store is located. It is the biggest Daiso store in Tokyo which boasts 4-storey selling products that range from foodstuffs, stationery, household and personal grooming products.   Apart from getting cheap stuffs from Daiso, I also love the yummy crepe in Harajuku too. I picked a sweet treat from Marion Crepes , and it is uber delicious and the price was pretty affordable too!         My favorite accessories shop in Harajuku, Paris Kid's , as everything in the shop is selling at 324 Yen which is about SGD3-ish.     In Harajuku, we went to the  Calbee retail store in order to get some chips for ourselves, and upon e...
