[random] I dress up even WFH + New addition to our balcony

Image
Pajamas have now become one of my main dress codes due to WFH arrangements for an extended time. In general, most people won't care what they’re wearing when they are working from home. Getting dressed up for work used to be a sort of preparation ritual to me for getting ready for the work day, but since my normal routine has now been changed due to WFH arrangements, I've lost this experience! As such, I do think that sometimes I should still try to ease back into wearing something a bit closer to what Ii would normally wear at the office. Hence, I try to put on some earrings and very minimal makeup whenever I leave my home for dinner after work! In short, I miss dressing up for work, so I decided to try out my office wears, but most importantly, I wanted to ensure that I could still fit into them!! #fatfear. I've developed a craving for titbits and snacks ever since I started my daily telecommuting from home. Recently, I've chosen  Fairprice’s Snowy Flakes  as my sn...

[Throwback] No dine-in days

I miss dining in at the food centres, as there are many delicious food options under one roof. Many might say ' you can take-out the food mah' , but honestly, do you agree with me that food taste better when dining in than take-out! I can’t wait to end the heightened alert, so we can start dine in with our family or a small group of friends again. Paradise Dynasty is having a 20% discount for self-pick up, and I combined this with an additional 15% off from my Grab app! We made use of this opportunity to get a combo dinner set for 2! We saved quite a bit on the damage. On a random Saturday, we picked up our dinner from  Li Fang Congee,  which is located at  Kinex  on a   random Saturday.   I love it very much, even though I didn't get to eat at the premises. Green Chilli Chicken Rice  is located at the  Sims Vista Market & Food Centre which is within walking distance from our place. It is about 3-5mins mins walk. I love their basmati rice...

Quick Meal for WFH + Group Buy is in trend

Feeling hungry while ‘WFH-ing?’ How about considering a simple and ready to eat Popiah Wrap from Mr Popiah?? It’s simple and easy, and will only need 2-3 minutes of preparation with a microwave!  This is especially convenient for working adults as a great on-the-go meal between meetings! Even for those still in the office, it’s easy to ‘Dabao’ back to the office during a short lunch break! The Popiah that I had got this time was the Nasi Briyani one, and I was pleasantly surprised that it really tasted like a legit Briyani! The soft popiah skin meshed well with the grains of Briyani rice and the meat was quite tender and flavorful as well! There are many other flavors available such as Nyonya Popiah, Chicken Burrito, to just name a few! I look forward to trying these next! Lately, I am pretty into group buys, and I have done a few purchases under the 'Keat Hong Group Buy'. I've recently started with the Teban group too!   These Otah buns from Soul Shiok tasted terrific...
