Preview Screening of Korean Movie, Twenty

'Twenty' is a light-hearted comedy movie starring Kim Woo Bin, Kang Ha-Neul and Lee Jun-Ho from the group,  2PM . This movie provides a humorous perspective on the life of young adults in Korea.     'Twenty' is about the lives of 3 best friends (Chi-ho, Dong Woo and Kyung Jae) who are literally standing at the crossroad of maturity. The running time of this movie is 115 minutes.     Chi-ho (starring Kim Woo Bin) is unemployed and his priority is dating and wooing women.     Kyung Jae (played by Kang Ha-Neul) is extremely shy around girls, but completely transforms when he gets drunk. His goal is to get accepted at a corporate job. Special Preview of Fashion King

A few days ago, I was invited by Clover Films to the special preview of the movie, Fashion King, which premiered on the 12th of March 2015. 'Fashion King' is a Korean movie based on a webtoon of the same name, and story plot of the movie is pretty simple and straight forward. It tells us of a story of a boy who wants to catch the attention of the prettiest girl in school and eventually steps into a world of fashion. In Korea, this movie raked in a total of more than 2.5 billion KRW within the first 4 days of screening and it is very popular among teenagers and young working adults. The story of' 'Fashion King' unfolds when a nerdy looking high school student, Woo Ki-Myung (starring Joo-Won) decides to win his crush's heart by transforming his image. Thanks to Hongwei who got us the tickets to watch 'That Girl in Pinafore' , and although this movie's opening day was on 1st of August, I only managed to catch it only 2 days ago, so I hope I am not too late to express my views on this movie…      That Girl in Pinafore (我的朋友, 我的同学, 我爱过的一切) is a Singaporean comedy-musical film. The story plot is set during the 90s and it revolves around the lives of a group of teenagers who want to live out their dreams.       The movie revolves around Jiaming (starring Daren Tan), a xinyao -loving young man who falls in love with a girl, May (played by Julie Tan). Their relationship grows as the pair struggles to keep a xinyao café alive which is run by Jiaming’s parents with the help of their friends, Cao Gen (starring Seah Jiaqing), Hao Ban (played by Kenny Khoo), Xiao Pang (starring Kelvin Mun), Liyana (played by Sherly Ng) and the twin sisters Hayley and Jayley.   ...
