It was Day 4 in Paris, and we walked down to Les Invalides after our breakfast. The walk took us about 15 minutes. We made use of our museum pass again to visit the Le Musée de L'Armée , as well as the Dôme des Invalides and The Cour d’Honneur. Les Invalides , officially known as the Hôtel National des Invalides (The National Residence of the Invalids) , contains museums and monuments relating to the military history of France,  as well the hospital and a retirement home for war veterans. It also houses the Musée de l'Armée , the M ilitary Museum of the Army of France , the Musée des Plans-Reliefs , and the Musée d'Histoire Contemporaine ,  as well as the burial sites for some of the famous war heroes of France, including Napoleon Bonaparte . The centrepiece of the Dôme des Invalides is the tomb of Napoleon I. It is not just the resting place for Napoleon since 1861. After spending 4 days in UK, we headed to St Pancras Station, as we were about to board the Eurostar to Paris... Before boarding the train, I did some shopping @ Cath Kidston... And YES! I got some loot for Dearie and myself.   I love the lip balm and my flowery business card holder and I h ope Dearie will like the card holder I got for her too... Hello Paris! It took us only 2hrs to reach there... We purchased the Tourist Pass to tour around Paris by Metro. We upgraded the pass to Area 5 by paying additional as Disneyland Paris is located on the outskirt of Paris... This was the Metro Station - Jacques Bonsergent where my hotel was located, Just a few stops away from the Eurostar station -  Gare du Nord... All I can say it was pretty convenient for us to travel around... Paris is 1-hr ahead than London... Time for bed and we are heading for some sight-seeing the next day...
