New hair color for Jess Baby + random doings

Image
Recently, I just got my hair colored at my usual hairdo haunt, Papilio . I was first introduced to this salon through flowerpod forum , and I fell in love with their service as well as the results I received. Their charges for hair treatments and services are pretty decent and affordable! I paid SGD120 for hair color, treatment and trimming! On top of that I was also given a bottle of intensive hair serum, POWERDOSE COLOR by L'Oreal Professional and a cash voucher worth SGD20 for my next visit. I think I will probably do my hair treatment there from now on.   As usual, on weekends, we will normally drive in to Malaysia, and we did. We drove into Taman Mount Austin , and we had our afternoon tea at Auntie Lim Cafe . Baby ordered a glass of Banana Milk Shake and Ham and Egg Sandwiches. I ordered the recommended dish from the menu, Chives Pancakes , and with the spicy dipping black sauce, the pancakes tasted GREAT! The damage was RM21-i...

[short getaway - Subang Jaya] Lunch at Pu Tien, Sunway Pyramid

Image
Upon reaching Subang Jaya, after a long drive from Singapore, we headed down to Sunway Pyramid to have our lunch, and both Baby and I decided on Pu Tien .     Baby and I love the dish ' Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee' very much, and when dining in Singapore, we normally order a small size to share between us, but this time round, we ordered the medium for our indulgence. The pork is still as good as what we had in Singapore, and since it is a bigger sized portion, I had several helpings. Each delectable meat tasted fabulous. Hing Hwa Bee Hoon is their signature dish, and overall, it is pretty affordable as the portion is big and my stomach can simply be filled alone with this dish.   During my first visit to Pu Tien, Vivo City, I fell in love with the  Spinach with Salted Egg and Century Egg in Supreme Stock, and it has become a MUST-ORDER entree for me in Pu Tien Restaurant, so without failed, I ordered it as part of ...

Birthday Celebration in Hong Kong

Image
This year, I celebrated my birthday in Hong Kong, and I remembered very clearly that I just went over to Hong Kong last October. Oh well, and this explains that I LOVE HK very much!! Most importantly, we were able to taste some of the best foods and shopping in HKG, in short, I am an ultimate food lover and crazy shopper. As usual, I took Cathay Pacific Airways to Hong Kong, and I did my normal routine thing onboard and that was to browse through the list of newly released movies from the in-flight entertainment guide selection. I selected ' TURBO' to keep me entertained for my entire flight journey as I missed out on catching it when it was showing in the cinemas. After 3hrs 55mins of flying, I finally landed at Hong Kong International Airport , as usual, once I cleared the immigration customs/checks. I proceeded to the nearest 7-11 store to get my 5-day tourist PCCW SIM card which included Mobile Data + unlimited usage of local voice-call and wi-fi. Last b...
