We wanted to explore Portland after our brekkie at the hotel café, as the hotel provide their in-house guests a pair of complimentary street-car tickets every morning when they head out for their day. Luckily for us, the street-car station is located right outside the hotel! We picked up the tickets at the reception, and we made use of them to explore Downtown Portland !  Portland, Oregon is compact and easy to get around, and there is good public transportation available. The locals are friendly and there are many choices of delicious food!
