A visit to Singapore Night Safari

Image
Thanks Wildlife Reserves Singapore Group for a pair of tickets to the Night Safari! It is the world's first nocturnal zoo which was officially opened in 1994. It had been a long hiatus since I went to the Night Safari, and finally I had the chance to visit the park again.   The tram ride was included in the admission tickets that we had, and it took tourists on an approximate 40 minute ride around the entire park! The queue was horrendously long but it was moving fast. Well, I guess the tram can take many passengers at one go!   The animals were active at night, and I only took a few photos, before focusing on enjoying the tram ride. Being a nocturnal zoo, the lights had been set up to resemble moonlight. Excessive light will blind the animals, and therefore flash photography is strictly prohibited. [Happy Birthday, Baby!] Dinner at PS. Café

Image
A couple weeks ago, I brought Baby to PS. Café which is located Harding Road (Dempsey Hill) to celebrate his Birthday. Although it is pretty inaccessible by public transport but a popular hang-out place for expats as well as the locals too.   I am glad that Baby loves the place that I picked for him for his mini birthday celebration, and he was in awe with the cozy setting and lovely garden/greenery in the surrounding area.   PS. Café serves an array of food selections such as pasta, steaks and sandwiches. Although the prices are on the higher side, the portion are very generous!   Geburtstag Baby and Ich Liebe Dich!   We gave the desserts a miss as our stomachs hardly had any room left for them after our meal. Oh well, we will be back again for their cakes soon!   Baby ordered some Japanese Koger Malted Beer as well to go along with our meal, and it tasted awesome!     We started of...

Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay

Image
A Girls' Day Out is what I have been looking forward to, and my clique of fab four (Claressa, Jasmine, Sweetie and Yours Truly) went out to spend the whole afternoon together. Last Christmas, Jasmine extended her invites to us to visit  Gardens by the Bay , and we soaked ourselves in the festive atmosphere.     The Flower Dome was transformed into a Winter Christmas Wonderland , and it gave us a celebratory mood for photo-taking opportunities.     There was a virtual fire place for us to keep ourselves warm from the blasting air-conditioning in the dome.   Apart from Flower Dome , we also visited Cloud Forest , and we experienced chilling temperatures akin to the weather found in Europe or the Americas. I felt like I was in a foreign country.     We had a good time taking photos, but most importantly, I got to spend time with...
