A day out with friends

We had a mini gathering with Hongwei, as to welcome him back to Singapore after his 1 year plus of training in Brunei. We went to Yum Cha, Chinatown for some Dim Sum fix.       We ordered quite a number of Dim Sum selections for our lunch such as Siew Mai, Xiao Long Bao, Prawn Fritters, Char Siew Chee Cheong Fun, Scallops in yam Ring and etc...   The damage was SGD65-ish, and it was pretty minimal cost for us as we paid like SGD16-ish per person. We enjoyed the food very much, and this makes the damage worth paying. Truly eaten, well spent!!   As Hongwei is craving for Cze Char even since he came back from Brunei, so we decided to fulfill his desire by doing a Cze Char fix for dinner...      We went to Lee Heng Restaurant which is located at Commonwealth Crescent , and I ordered my MUST-EAT item, Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs whenever I visit this eatery place. It has been almost a year since I last visited Tampopo , and according to my blog timeline, the last visit was July 2012, this is how a blog come useful as it helps you to keep track of the things you did and places you went to all these while. Nothing great having a blog or being a blogger, to me it is just a daily diary to keep track of my stuffs.   Dinner on a random weekend, Baby and I went to the outlet located at Liang Court to get our ramen cravings fixed.   This time round, I didn’t go for the signature ramen, Black Pig Shabu Ramen Deluxe but instead I went for the Toro Ramen , and each meat was perfectly grilled. The meat was succulent and tasted good. The creamy soup base was rich and flavorful and I love the springy feeling of the noodles. I truly enjoyed my delicious bowl of ramen.   Baby ordered the Deluxe Shio Ramen , and w e had Wafu Steak as a side too,. It is worth mentioning too as I savored every bit of i...

Jess Baby loves weekends!!   I visited The Animal Resort again on a random weekend...   As usual, peacocks and rabbits are in the farm, but this time, I saw some geese and a horse...     I got up close and personal with the parrot which listens to her owner's commands like hug hug and kiss kiss, and that was so funny and interesting.   I love the experience to interact with the animals at close distance, and it has been a great day for me with the animals and wildlife.   This was my first time to New Soon Huat Bak Kut , and as per the newspaper article at the shop, it says the owner of this eatery was an ex-convict who set up this eatery place, and most of the workers are  ex-convicts and former drug addicts who are given a second chance at life.   Located along the stretch of the famous Jalan Kayu Roti Prata, it is pretty popular among youngsters. Do avoid pea...

Trio of us (Sweetie, Jas Jas and Yours Truly) met up on a random weekend for lunch. After our meal, we decided to shop around in the mall. To our surprise, we saw a large crowd gathered at the centre atrium of Plaza Singapura. Out of curiosity, we decided to kp-kp lol... OMG!! HK TVB stars are making their appearance at Plaza Singapura. We saw 4 TVB stars making their way on the red carpet to the centre-stage, and they were Ron Ng, Nancy Wu, Edwin Siu and Kenneth Ma.   Ron Ng was the first star to perform and his dressing pretty much resembled our friend TZ Ow. Hahahaha!! Nancy Wu sang a Chinese song, and I appreciated her effort though her Chinese wasn’t good. Edwin Siu has nice vocals.   And lastly, my everyone favorite’s idol, Kenneth Ma was on stage, I started to like him eversince his last role in TVB drama serial, On Call 36小时 . His role has left a deep impression in me. Though he is going to be in his fortie...
