Happy weekdays! Emerald Hill is one of the more conservative areas in Singapore, and used to be home to the wealthy Peranakan Community. It is also one of the most colorful streets in Singapore and the classic shophouse location has become one of my favorite places places for a nice OOTD. Baby and I revisited the famous Hong Kong Cha Chan Teng,  Honolulu Café  which is located at Centrepoint . We had our Sunday Brunch and I personally still feel that it was overrated. To be honest, I was already dismissive of the place when we first visited the original café in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, I think the Singaporean branch is cut from the same cloth, as service was meh and the food was mediocre at best. The other Hong Kong cafes based in Singapore seem to be better in my humble opinion, but my baby seems to like this place so I humored him.   The bonus thing for me is that I really love their egg tarts. Monica Vinader is a British Luxury jewellery brand, and recently they collaborated with premium Korean beauty brand HERA for a workshop of wonderful beauty and style! I confirmed my RSVP, and asked Tracy along to join me for this event. The workshop was conducted at their boutique, which is located at ION Orchard .   During the workshop, there was a LIVE makeup demonstration by the beauty expert from HERA . There was also an expert from Monica Vinader to guide us on how to pick the perfect jewellry pieces to complement each look. All the attendees to this event did not leave home empty-handed, as Monica Vinader gave out a very special goody bag filled with HERA beauty products that were worth SGD50! This came along with a tote bag as well! Thanks for the invite, as we had a great time at the event! After that, we headed down to Emerald Hill for some chill out session. We redeemed our complimentary Kronenbourg Blanc at the 1664Terrace Party . ...

'Black Nut' is a newly opened gastro pub which is located at Emerald Hill. It is named after the local seed/fruit 'Buah Keulak' , and the pub offers Asian-inspired bar bites. Sweetie extended her invite to me to their Raunchy Rojak Opening Party, and the private party event allowed us to indulge in a free flow of drinks! We ordered Erdinger as this is my favorite beer, apart from Stella Artois.
