Baby and I will normally spend some quality time together on the weekends. On a recent weekend, I brought Baby for a weekend Dim Sum brunch at Taste Paradise which is located at ION Orchard . Upon entering the premises, we were led to our seats. We were one of the first few people entering the eatery place as our reservation was at 10am. OMG! The Chee Cheong Fun with Chai Poh tasted so good!  We loved the Deep-fried Chilli Crab Dumplings .  Our dim sum brunch will never be completed without having Siew Mai ! They were nicely done, and we enjoyed them very much! We ordered our usual dim sum staples…    The meal was very satisfying, and my personal recommendations (must-have!) are the Fried XO Carrot Cake, Fried Prawn Beancurd Skin and Glutinous Rice (He Ye Fan) . I have a soft spot for desserts, but I also wanted to make something healthy for myself! Check out my home made ‘Parfait’ which I made using Kellogg’s Super Berry Granola ! It’s tasty and nutritious, with 7 essential nutrients that are perfect for a healthy dessert! I was delighted to be selected to attend the Guardian Exclusive 'La-Roche Posay Sun-Care' Workshop , and it was held at Guardian Plus at Takashimaya Shopping Centre . We ended our meet up with a wefie! Say Cheese…. We were given a generous goody bag which was filled with La-Roche Posay and Vichy products. Meryl came down to Suntec City to meet me for lunch on a random weekday, and I was so happy to see her again. Although we seldom see each other, we are still in each other’s heart, and that’s what friends are for! We settled our lunch at The Butcher’s Kitchen , and we went for the daily lunch set special which comes with soup and a glass of drink. The set cost us around SGD15++. I had the Teriyaki Salmon with Rice while Meryl had pasta instead. We had an enjoyable time together although my lunch time is limited. Last weekend (Saturday), I was at Capitol Piazza, Outdoor Plaza with Jasmine and her cousin for the inaugural Emirates Singapore Derby Roadshow . It is open to the public, and admission is free. I met up Cookie by chance at the event, so we took a group photo at the InstaPhoto Booth. We missed out some highlights such as the Fashion Showcase and Horse patting/feeding as we were being held up by other things and therefore unable to meet the timings. Oh well, at least we were lucky enough to say hi to the two lovely Singapore Turf Club's mascots - Racer and Clover . There was a Q&A session going on when we were there, and I won an Airbus A380 Fridge Magnet courtesy from Emirates.
