[Asian Premiere] Cavalia: A magical encounter between man and horse
Cavalia is a lavish and unique production involving 50 magnificent horses and featuring 42 riders, aerialists, acrobats, dancers and musicians from all over the world. Cavalia celebrates the relationship between humans and horses, virtually reinventing the equestrian arts. I was excited to attend the Asian Premiere of the multi-disciplinary theatrical production Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Man and Horse . I was amazed by the impressive Cavalia village, and Cavalia’s White Theatre Tent is the largest touring tent in the world, which is now erected on Bayfront Avenue beside Marina Bay Sands, as Cavalia launched its first Asian tour in Singapore on August 12, 2014. The White Theatre Tent consists of fairy spires towering 10-storey high, a colossal 50-metre-wide stage as well as including a 60 meter-wide screen on which images are projected to create virtual backgrounds.
