My weekend getaway!

Image
YAY! It’s time for our weekend getaway to Subang Jaya, Selangor to visit Uncle Mike and catch up with friends like Jeanne and Vivian.   My OOTD! #vainpotme     We used to drive up but due to the massive jam at both check-points, we decided not to do it as it is very monotonous and dreadful being stuck in long jams. Once, we came back on Sunday night and were stuck in a 2-3hrs jam just to clear customs! Therefore this time, we decided to fly and took Tiger Airways which cost us less than SGD110 per pax. We landed at KLIA2 in the morning, and it is a newly built airport. To me, it looks like a high-end shopping mall rather than an airport terminal.        Upon reaching our place at Subang Jaya, we went out for delicious Bak Kut Teh for brekkie. We drove Uncle's Mike car to Sunway Pyramid , and the distance was just barely 10mins away.       I went to my favorite shop,...

My favorite food haunt in Sunway Pyramid, Subang Jaya is none other than Fullhouse , as the setting is nicely done, and it is a cozy place to dine at too.      Baby and I had our lunch there and Baby had Vongole Pasta and I had Fullhouse Signature Teriyaki Chicken Burger. We shared a yummy dessert, Panna Cotta , and it looked visually good and also tasted as good as its looked. The damage was RM68-ish with a pot of Lemongrass Ginger & Citrus Tea . I enjoyed the tea very much as hot water is refillable. I am back for more Jelly Bunny pumps at Sunway Pyramid , and I got myself another pair of pumps. I love the glitter very much and it looks great as a part of my OOTD during these festive seasons. I paid RM59 from this scented Jelly ballerina pumps and they are comfortable for my feet and as well as for my pockets . I also picked up a chunky necklace from Bonita as they are having 50% sales...

Nothing but loot and food for Jess Baby

Baby and I visited PasarBella again, as we needed to utilise the vouchers due to the expiry date ending in December. We were afraid that we might miss or forget the date of validity. In short, we do not want to waste the vouchers as there are many things to do at PasarBella . We went to Oceans of Seafood on a random weekend, and this eatery place is hard to miss out as it is located right beside the entrance of PasarBella. At Oceans of Seafood, they offer an array of fresh seafood, and we decided to have some fresh raw oysters! We ordered half a dozen of oysters which came with a glass of beer as a set, and we had Hotate and Salmon sushi(s) too. The damage was pretty hefty as it cost SGD35-ish. Luckily, we had our vouchers to offset more than half of the amount. Thanks so much, PasarBella for the kind vouchers! Baby's boss came back from London and got him a box of chocolate truffles from PRESTAT. It is one of the oldest chocolate sho...
