Hey Kee Restaurant is a newly opened eatery in the east, near Geylang. Therefore we decided to have our early reunion with my usual ‘Lucky 7’ clique! The dining ambience is akin to Hong Kong’s famed 大牌 档 (dà pái dàng) experience with a vintage HK interior design.  大牌 档 (dà pái dàng) means ‘big licence stall’ in Cantonese where these open-air food stalls used to dot the streets and alleys of Hong Kong. Hey Kee’s menu ensures that they offer a wide variety of dishes on the menu at relatively wallet-friendly prices as to  maintain the legacy of 'Dai Pai Dongs' There were a few photo spots at the eatery, such as a HK retro old-fashioned barber shop that had a spread of hair-styling/make up brushes as props, and a HK retro bus stop! After a hiatus of 2 years, I was back again to Acqua e Farina for dinner. This restaurant is a cosy Italian restaurant situated at The Rail Mall . A bread basket was served shortly after being seated, while we helped ourselves with the Olive Oil and Vinegar which was placed on each table. We started off with the Zuppa Del Giorno - Mushroom Soup . Our appetizer, Melanzane alla Parmigiana  came in an acceptable size. The oven baked Eggplants slices were layered with Mozzarella, Tomato Sauce, Parmesan Cheese and Basil tasted pretty good! I had the Spaghetti Al Gambero , which had a large and fresh King Prawn, and Pasta which was cooked to Al Dente perfection! I truly enjoyed it, and it was AWESOMELY GOOD!! Baby had his usual favorites - Linguine con Vongole . We ended our dinner with a delicious Dessert Platter - Mini Crème Brûlée, Panna Cotta, Tiramisù and Lava Cake. We had our lunch at Taliwang Restaurant which is located along Kandahar Street , and it serves authentic Halal Lombok Cuisine. We ordered some mains to share among us, and below were some of the orders. We shared one of the signature dishes  – Ayam Bakar Taliwang . This is an iconic dish from Lombok, and the chicken was well-marinated with a Taliwang flavor. It was char-grilled perfectly with a tenderness that still retained a juicy bite. We had a wonderful dining experience at Taliwang Restaurant ! Baby made use of his WFH week, to prepare dinner for us. He whipped up a simple dinner -  Meatball Pasta for both of us on a random weekday. On a random weekend, RKM went out on a late afternoon hiking date at The Rail Corridor.  We simply couldn't resist taking a selfie against the truss bridge, as is it was perfect for an Instagram-worthy photo! I took quite a number of OOTDS at the truss bridge! On these truss bridges, there are two that have been conserved as heritage sites. These historic bridges are a rare sight in Singapore, and you can them along Bukit Timah Road near the railway station and near The Rail Mall at Upper Bukit Timah Road.    We walked to Singapore Quarry and I took a tired yet hilarious photo as wearing a mask to hike is no joke. I totally hate this feeling, so please consider allowing us to take off our masks while walking in an open air nature reserve areas! We are moving out of the northern part of Singapore soon, so Baby and I are trying to explore as many food gems and interesting food venues as possible in the up north of Singapore such as Yishun, Woodlands or Sembawang.
