Image
NoMakeNoLife or ‘nmnl’ in short, is a monthly subscription beauty box filled with Japanese and Korean beauty products! As compared to other subscription boxes, nomakenolife tends to include lesser-known Brand names in order to give these products a trial!    I received the February 2020 box, and it consisted of 8 products -  chocolate milk mask, eye patch, matte lipstick, eyeshadow palette, beauty soap, colored eye pencil, lip plumper anda ccheek color balm. Each month you’ll receive 8-9 full-sized, trendy and high quality items that include makeup, skincare, beauty tools, body care and much more! All of the beauty products are sourced from Korea or Japan. They were very kind to have sent me February’s box to review! Here’s a closer look at the items I received… A’Pieu Chocolate Milk Mask Sheet (Korea) Cacao is used as an ingredient to remove dead skin cells and milk essence is used to moisturise the skin.  Medius Heart Eye...

Mr Mistoffelees Magical Gala

Image
CATS , one of the greatest and most adored musicals the world has ever known, has returned to Singapore and is now performing at the MasterCard Theatres, Marina Bay Sands from now till the 5th January 2020. I attended the ' Mr Mistoffelees Magical Gala' , and I welcomed this musical with open arms as I know it is quite simply, a musical masterpiece and phenomenal! The musical features a magnificent musical score composed by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber  that includes the timeless hit song, 'Memory' .   I loved the amazing stage settings, as it created an artistic 'Cat's Cradle' of a playground. ‘ CATS’ tells the imaginative tale of a tribe of Jellicle Cats, and they gather together for the annual Jellicle Ball.  This beautiful musical has been seen by over 70 million people world-wide, and w hen 'CATS' first opened in London in May 1981, it went on a record-breaking number of awards internationally, which incl...

I want to share a piece of great news for all bubble tea lovers, who are residing at the North-side of Singapore. There is a new artisan Bubble Tea in town. Bober Tea is an artisan tea that is focused on providing affordable, high-quality and tasty blends of tea with various flavors! It is located at Bishan Station (Exit C), and if you are around there, do not give it a miss, as it’s definitely worth a try! Thanks for the invitation, Bober Tea! I gathered my 3 besties to join me for the tasting. We redeemed 4 cups for our indulgence. Happyily, my friends, they loved their drinks very much.  For me, I picked up the Supreme Mango Green Tea with Hokkaido Milk Cap , and I also added Strawberry Pop Boba for my toppings. It has a foamy and thicker consistency from the other milk teas we ordered. I love the QQ pop boba, and I couldn’t stop sipping it!  Here are some tips to how best to enjoy the Milk Cap Series - It is best to drink it from...

Printcious.com - Precious gifts from the heart

Image
Everybody loves to receive presents, especially from those that are close to my heart! Take me as an example. I love to receive presents/gifts from my loved ones and friends even on days that have no special occasion, as these gestures make me feel loved. In return, I will give them back a token/gift to show my appreciation.   Looking for a perfect gift is not an easy task as different people vary in their preferences. The best solution for this is to personalise gifts for individuals, as these will let your recipients realise that you actually know them well, and have put in the extra effort in selecting gifts for them! It doesn't have to be anything luxurious, but it is the thought that counts! People will tend to appreciate these gifts more, as they will certainly be touched by the love and effort given!    Recently, I was introduced to Printcious , an online DIY gift printing company. They offer assistance to customers to help create wonde...
