[Ovarian Campaign Awareness Month] Positively Teal Media Event
Ovarian Cancer is the 5th most common cancer and is also the one of the deadliest Gynaecological Cancer among Singapore women today. A woman has two ovaries which are part of the female reproductive system and each ovary is made up of different cells each performing its own function, but when these cells grow abnormally, ovarian cancer will be formed. People who are at risk of ovarian cancer are those who have early menarche and late menopause, infertility or not having children until late in life, family history of ovarian, breast or colorectal cancer and high fat diet. I attended the Positively Teal Media Event which was held at Canele Patisserie Chocolaterie , and it was an exclusive event as I gained knowledge and it also raise my awareness for Ovarian Cancer .
