RKM loves the weekend, as we get to spend quality time together. On this latest write up, we had lunch at Sunshine Plaza , as Baby suggested visiting an eatery we've not tried for a very long time. 'Parklane Zha Yun Tun Mee House' serves delicious fried wanton noodles! We ordered a plate each, and note that the noodles comes with slices of BBQ meat! The QQ noodles make the dish perfect and I wonder why I've not come back sooner to try their signature Crispy Fried Wantons soonest! The Wanton Mee gets a thumbs up from me, and I will definitely come back for more! I love trying out new eateries, especially across the causeway in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. When my JB blogger friend invited me for a food tasting session at the Taste of Georgetown on a random Saturday, I accepted it without any hesitation! The Taste of Georgetown is located at KSL City Mall, and the whole eatery place is filled up with wall murals and positive vibes from Penang. The eatery place is fairly small with an unpretentious setting, and has a simple street dining feel.   We started off with the Penang-style Chee Cheong Fun which had a good mixture of sweet and prawn paste sauce. It had a good taste of 'Penang', and I enjoyed it very much.  I love the mildly sweet Popiah . I love weekends as they are meant for our 'RKM' activities, and Baby and I headed to JB to spend some quality time together on a beautiful Sunday afternoon…     We went to KSL CITY Shopping mall to get some of our loots, and we took a rest at the lobby of KSL Hotel & Resort Johor Bahru for a while before our dinner… While resting on the luxurious chesterfield sofa, we took some pictures in the lobby. (Baby was in his funny mood while I was doing cam-whoring)      Time for good makan!! HortPark is a one-stop gardening hub that brings together gardening-related, recreational, educational, research and retail activities under one big canopy in a park setting.   If you are the type of person who enjoys taking nature walks along the Southern Ridges, then HortPark is the right place to visit. As for me, I yearn for a tranquil environment for relaxation every weekend, to relieve myself from work stress and urban busy city life.     Upon reaching the gardening area, I saw a scarecrow back facing me at the Vegetable Garden , so I stepped into the premises to take a closer look of it. Ahh, it’s a friendly one.... Hahaha!!   I took several photos of vegetables, like Brinjal (Egg Plant), Lady Finger and even sweet potatoes. Shopping has always been my favorite, and retail therapy is pretty much a good way to de-stress us from the urban city life.     I have a fetish over cute stuffs and I got myself 2 note/memo books which featured Hello Kit ty and Rilakkuma . The main reason is to get myself more organised and well-planned of my stuffs for the year 2013.       OMG!!
