[Happy SG50] The launch of Sing, Love

Image
The album, 'Sing, Love' was officially launched with a special concert at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore which is located at Resorts World Sentosa .     I was able to take part in this launch all thanks to my Sweetie, who extended her invite to me. We had a blast at the concert! The 'Sing, Love' project ended on a high note and it was well received by the public too!     Singapore is celebrating her Golden Jubilee this year, and therefore the album named 'Sing, Love' was created to celebrate Singapore's 50th birthday in musical style. Ruth Ling and Red Roof Records came out with an original music album with five original songs and accompanying music videos. The songs are written in a mixture of four major languages in Singapore: English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil . It reflects Singapore as a multi-racial society, and each song featured in 'Sing, Love' boasts collaborations between seasoned industry veterans a

[I love 90s] Retrolicious 2015

I was glad to attend this year's Retrolicious concert, and this year, instead of artistes and acts from the 80's, we were treated to a spectacular show from acts from the 1990's! Retrolicious 2015 was held at Fort Canning Park and it featured Tommy Page, Color Me Badd and All-4-One who had a big impact in the music industry in the 1990s.   Color Me Badd was the first act to be on stage, and they lit up the party mood with their popular song, 'All For Love' . When they sang 'I Adore Mi Amor' , they drew cheers from the audience and they closed their set with 'I wanna Sex You Up' .    The 44 years old, Tommy Page kicked off his performance with 'Turn on the radio', and he lit up the entire concert-goers mood. He treated the crowd with a string of his chart-toppers, such as ' I'll Be Your Everything' , 'When I dream of You', 'Painting in my Mind' and 'I break Down' .

A couple of months ago, Claressa asked me to join her to Batam for a day trip as she wanted to stock up on her beauty products. She is currently using some skincare products which is only available in Indonesia, and she tells me that she will travel to Batam every half a year to stock up on her daily skincare regime products which are mainly cleansing and refreshing toners. Baby and I joined her, as this was our very first trip to Batam, we purchased our tickets from Batam Fast which is located at Harbourfront and the tickets cost us SGD48 round trip per person. Upon clearing the custom at Batam, we headed straight to the Mega Mall Batam Centre for our lunch Claressa ordered the Mie Ayam and I had Mie Ayam Pedas Baby's lunch (meatball soup with white rice) Our shopping time started after we finished our meal, and Baby is the only guy so he had to do his shopping at the Men's section alone, and he got a cap and a pair of a bermudas.
